I bonded with stitch growing up because I didn’t have many friends. I felt like I didn’t belong and I was looking for my place. He also had to learn how to interact with people. He just had so many facets of his personality.

I think the obsession with Stitch is the fact that while he is cute-ish, he also is very amusing and chaotic. Which makes him "more interesting" of a character to a lot of people, teens and adults, than other more "bland/goody-goody" Disney characters. That's why he's "cooler" 😎 of a character to be a fan of.

I understand with the “being rushed” complaint and that’s fair. My counterpoint would be that many guests here have stacked plans and prefer to get in and out. It probably bodes well for them that the breakfast goes by fairly quickly.

I went to the ohana earlier this January and it was a horrible experience. Felt extremely rushed, our waiter was clearly in a bad mood and we could hear him complaining about his job from our table. He made us seem like we were bothering him about bringing up allergies. We were in and out and the food wasn’t even that good. I love stitch but I’ll never step foot in the ohana again. My mom says it used to be amazing, clearly something went wrong.

I do love a good character breakfast! 😍 Ohana’s has the best breakfast bread & POG juice. If you've never been you certainly should! My pro tip ⭐️ I always ask for my meal in this restaurant in stages. Once we've eaten the bread and fruit I then say to the server I will tell you when we are ready for the skillet! 🍴 otherwise it's so annoying it costs a lot of money to dine here!

I think it is great that they bring the food out fast. When you are there with children and their short attention spans, this is a godsend. They cater to the children, since it is a character breakfast in Disney World.

My Ohana breakfast flex is that i went in 2021 right after covid when it was super cheap, there were no characters to contend with, and we headed to a Disney cruise right afterward! 🥳 Looks like its still a fun time, though! The bacon hand was great! 🤣

Ohana breakfast put me in a food coma, but the character experience was fun and amazing especially with a group of friends, because I always have social anxiety when it comes to character interaction. I came to Ohana, because my friends group and I share birthdays the same week. That's unfortunate for the expresso martini and I gotta try the one at Boardwalk. That resort is underrated! Awsome you found the Ohana pin!

Hi Kristen - Lilo and Stitch resonates with a lot of people and families who have been through the fostering and adoption process and I know a lot of people also identify with potential pointers to Lilo being on the ASD spectrum - it was a very unusual positive representation of some of these things and Disney made some very brave and important choices when they made this movie. It means a lot to people for these reasons and Stitch - naughty, untamed, not perfect - is the representative of that movie and what Disney were trying to portray 🥰

I haven't been to Ohana since 2011, but at dinner the characters did come out and have some interaction with the kids, including a short parade around the restaurant. Maybe they don't come out at all for dinner anymore. Unfortunately, that would be very much like Disney. Glad you all enjoyed Breakfast though.

Thank you for the review. We’re planning on coming down in August and I’m researching where to make reservations. The prices for the sit down restaurants are insane! I can’t justify dropping over $200 for eggs and waffles (4 of us and the kids are over 9). We’ll be camping over at fort wilderness and I’ll bring my own waffle maker 😂.

Sometimes it is good that the breakfast is rushed. When you only get to go to Disney so often time is money so you don’t want to waste a lot of time in the restaurants so you can get to the parks. 😊

I am not a character girlie either! When I see folks interacting with characters on videos I either mute or skip forward. I don't know why! I think it's because their faces don't change. I know there are some people who are really touched by being able to hug the characters they love but it's a no from me. I'll volunteer to take the photos though =)

I was dying laughing when you guys were talking about the obsession with Stitch. My little sisters favorite character ever is Stitch. She’s 6 and she loves him so much. I think for her it’s mostly an obsession with violence( she will go around pretending to bite people with her stitch stuffed animal) On a semi related note, she’s deaf and her stitch stuffed animal got a sign name before anyone else in the family did so I’m a little butthurt about that.
