may I know if after you remove the connection from on premise and azure ad does it also remove the immutatable id of the cloud users? thank you

What about the clean up of on-premise sync user ? Or is the assumption the On-Premise domain is being decommissioned and is not a valid clean up activity. Also amend login as Administrator to a Domain Admin / Enterprise Admin role.

Good Day! How about deleting user details on Azure AD (AD Connect) after you uninstall the AD connect to On-Prem? there's a way to removed them? and possible to reconnect again but different details (Immutable ID, New DC, New Object ID, New CN, , New Domain )

Curious what happens to the groups that were synced from the on premise active directory? I have some groups that are used in sharepoint so I need them to stay but need to kill that ad azure sync

To install MSOnline module: Type cmdlet "Install-Module MSOnline“ Type "Connect-MsolService" and press enter to connect to Azure AD. Check the current status of on-premises syncing type "(Get-MsolCompanyInformation).DirectorySynchronizationEnabled" To disable sync. Type "Set-MsolDirSyncEnabled -EnableDirSync $false" Check the current status again type "(Get-MsolCompanyInformation).DirectorySynchronizationEnabled"

Thank you for suggestion but already Intune is in pipe. You know I used to create complete series not one or two videos. So need to time to test everything and then create video. But surely the series will be there.

I'm using Hyper V and I'm using windows server 2019 Recently i installed and configured AD CONNECT and everything was working fine. When i shut down the VM and restarted it a pop up came where it show do you want to revert to previous where you left When i clicked on that and I saw as connected was not there and nor the users which i created Please help and how would I removed the old hybrid users from o365 admin portal Since onprem users are nowhere to be found

I think by mistake you have restored the VM state. Since the old server with old on-prem users are not available, we need to begin fresh. You can delete the on-prem users from Azure AD portal or O365 portal. And for server entry in Azure AD portal, temporary you can disable Azure AD Connect via PowerShell and remove the server from the sync.
