LOL, I thought that was Wranglerstar in that video. Great having a good laugh with a video like this. I personally only own 3 chainsaws, a 16" Echo that is so old it doesn't have a chainbrake, a 16" poulan that doesn't like to stay running if you set it down to move a log, and a 18" Tanaka that is truly a gutless wonder. The Echo will out cut either of the other two and I use it all the time. The most recent cutting was a 27 inch diameter tree that I used the Echo to cut up and it took care of it with no problem. I do have another saw here, a 12 " Poulan MicroXXV. Only reason I don't use it is that it needs a carb and I can't locate one for it.

My dad who knew little about chainsaws took the advice of my very strong Uncle and bought a Super 1050 Homelite running 404 chain. the largest one man saw they made back in 1974. Perfect! Cody and Mike both generally use a Stihl 461/462 so there isn't any practical difference... I run a 461 quite a bit but quite frankly my 271 gets a lot more use due to the size of the trees with which I'm dealing. The 271 is also much lighter for limbing and brush cutting... Last week I cut for a land trust and a bunch of Millennials and a few Lumbersexuals were there serving as the ground crew feeding the chipper. I was the old burly guy who kept working while they took breaks and hovered around the safe little clearing they created for the chips. Anyone who thinks they will save the world has to understand that we're screwed if we're going to depend on them! LOL
