this is way bigger than your standard capsule hotel. it's more of a micro single room. i don't think you say where this is, but guessing by the phone numbers it's Osaka. and $54 a night is wildly expensive for that area for what that room is. you can get the same for $30 a night in the same area, just saying.

I heard that there is a service for 'gaijin' apartments in Japan, reasonably priced apartment (they even agree to short term rental and month-to-month) but they want proof of income and work visa (I'm unsure if they'll take tourist visa). While Daniel does have income from youtube, I'm unsure if that qualifies over there since he's not sponsored by or working with local companies. Other foreigners like Simon and Martina (youtubers- Canadian citizens) have work visa and sponsored by a production company in Japan so they can rent a house...
