Just wonderful. I'd much rather have one of these than a tiny house. Your work is magnificent.

You almost have to wear sunglasses inside and out to look at it, the wood inside is so shiny. Great job restoring this beautiful trailer.

I love these Spartan homes! They are so durable. This one would be perfect size for me and my dog. Manufactured homes these days are only good for about 15 years and then most are trash. I live in a 1983 Madrid that I paid $2,500 for in 2005. It was in pretty bad shape when I bought it, but the paneling in the living room was gorgeous. I own my half acre of land and hate to move, but now the roof leaks over my bed, I bought the cool seal but now have no one to put it on.

Beautiful! We lived in one of these when I was little. The perforated lights over the couch brought back a nostalgia rush! Our fridge was lower, had a shelf on top where we had our little TV. Thanks for sharing and great restoration.

Exceptional work! I went weak at the knees when you closed that aluminum door from the outside. Gorgeous!!! Loved the pull out desk. The curtain tracks in aluminum - is this custom made or can I buy this for my own RV remodel from a source? I am currently using IKEA curtain tracks. One thing I do not understand is why they used such large piano hinges on doors and cabinets? Surely cabinet doors are fairly light and 2 normal hinges would support them? What is the functional reason for the large full length hinge unless it was to add a design element with a long metal stripe between the cabinets? What type of wood is used for paneling and cabinets? It has a lovely grain. Did you shellac the paneling? Looks like warm honey. Was the aluminum tub enclosure original? Looks fantastic! Another great project Brian, well done indeed!!!

I love your work! Beautiful!!!! I have a 1954 Spartan camper... and a 1947 Plymouth special deluxe 4 dr sedan. Both in need of restoration. I'm not sure what I'm doing with then yet. But I LOVE watching ur videos!!! Thank you for sharing!!!

That would be cool to have them going down the road together. I’ve been wanting a Spartan camper and found a few that aren’t too far from me and have my eye on a 1948 Chrysler New Yorker sedan and thinking about how neat it would be to take my family camping in them. I love the vintage looks of these as well as the vehicles from the same time period.

Well done - I really appreciate the quality of the work. I just had a couple questions: What are the interior dimensions of the manor? I can't seem to find an exact read on interior ceiling height and width. Also, did you have to wield a new frame underneath/change the axles? That's all steel right? Any chance that can last for 60 years? Thanks for sharing

It's is beautifully restored, it would be interesting to see electric hook up the water heater water pump , furnace holding tanks gas/electric fridge/icebox, fuse box/breakers converter, a/c? The weight of that trailer..... I know I am spoiled with modern RVs but still curious...

Hi. We have a 35 ft. 1951 Royal Spartenette, which we have restored to original and a 38 ft.1951 Imperial Mansion not yet restored. Do you polish your skins or sub contract it out? We need to shine our trailers. Laurie, Montrose, Co

I did ours my self but don't do it for hire. You will probably in the $5 k range. Might check with the local general aviation airport.

Im wondering how much he's charging for for that trailer with that level of restoration. I watch the MobilTec guy and I feel like Im talking to a crooked contractor. Brian here doesn't screw around. Everything is restored down to the last screw.

I will not understand all of sudden people posting these old trailers, I guess it is a way to create a lot of hyp and high prices. Some of these things for the price you can buy a new almost look alike for the same money.
@lizsteeds66974 жыл бұрын
What is your point ? ... Isn't it blatantly obvious that new RVS and trailers are made with cheap, shoddy materials and usually terribly designed. If you can't appreciate the difference in quality (and it is vast ...) then stick with your new trailers ... and their tacky aesthetic.

Hello Brian, You and your wife do great restorations on the Spartans I've seen. I have a 54 Spartan Royal Manor Tandem. I plan to doing a full restoration. I would like to to know if I can get some Spartan unique information from you? I would appreciate your support. I can be reached brian.k.wolfe1@gmail.com. Thank you.

Spartans don't have one piece of plastic or formaldehyde in them. New trailers are toxic.
