Hello , Thanks this is very nice but a question: If I speak like this will it look like a robot to Arabic speaking people? Cause this is Modern Arabic Speaking but Arab natives they all speak different depending on their country .
@asmaa.184
@asmaa.184 2 жыл бұрын
No you won’t sound like a robot but you won’t sound like a native speaker, everyone will understand you though and it’s best to learn msa first and then get used to the Arabic dialect of the country you live in

Our teacher does a good job of preparing the student for dialects. For example, in Levantine Arabic most of the grammatical endings are dropped and she does in fact drop some of them to prepare us for this. Good approach!

Your explanation is good as far as words are concerned. They way you use sentences are difficult to understand and looks like that only you know these sentences. How come people who don't know Arabic understand these sentences.

Notice how the l in the definite article al (the), when combined with certain consonants (first letter of word modified by the article al) is "swallowed" and the consonant in question is then doubled. For example, al dushsh, the shower, is pronounced addushsh. Or al-sayyara (the car) is pronounced assayyara. Al-tayyara (the airplane) is pronounced attayyara. Listen for this. Not all consonants follow this rule but most do. K, for ex, is an exception. Thus al kelb (the dog) does not follow this rule. M and b are also exceptions, although n is not.

Arab & Islam are not same. Sane like European & Christian are not same. A lot of European are atheist. Same with Arab. Being Arab doesnt mean you are Muslim. Arabs are diverse.
