Doctor, an amazing job! That poor gentleman will never wait 20 years again for treatment. I'm sure he feels much better. I want to thank you for sharing a part of your story with us. I'm 50 years old and only today learned that a stammer can be caused by a physical ailment. I thought it was purely psychological. Now, I understand that there can be a physical component, and that it can be exacerbated by anxiety. I wonder how many other folks have been enlightened by your simple honesty. Bless you for that. Watching this video has been important for me in ways that I never thought an earwax removal video would be. Thank you so much for your candidness and your professionalism. You've helped me today!

I'll second what pretty much everyone else is saying in the comments and say I didn't hear your stutter. After you mentioned it though, I _could_ hear your hesitance on certain words, only because I have a speech impediment too that I've learned to manage and cover up and it causes me to do something similar. For me it's more a case of my train of thought moving faster than the muscles of my mouth physically can, I have to work to not slur or lisp. Thank you for the content, and don't bother with the people complaining that it's boring. They can skip through the video if they want.

I too have had to do a lot of public speaking as a clinical research manager and managed to speak at investigator meetings over the years. I’ve watched this video several times. It amazes me what our bodies can tolerate. The amount of decomposing organic material is just unbelievable. I try to imagine how the first blasts of cool dry air must feel like. Neel mentions the patients comfort level. I can’t imagine how sensitive this poor fellows head must have been. Once a large piece of rot was removed it had to be pure bliss. This took years to build up. You can see how black the material becomes. This guy showed up weighing a measurable amount more than when he left. 😮. The patient now can hear the sunrise 🌅

I've been watching your videos for a few days now and I could never say they're boring. You're a brilliant man and I find what you do to be very interesting. Also, thank you for sharing so much about yourself. I would never have believed you had an issue with stuttering, you speak so fluently. Anyway, I'm looking forward to watching another of your videos so take care and keep up the good work. God Bless.

Wow!! good job Neel this had me gripped watching right to the end. How was the patient feeling afterwards? Had his vertigo gone? Bet he can hear a pin drop now. I love watching skin peels.

I stumbled upon your channel - those mysterious algorithms! - and find your work fascinating. The contents you removed look sufficient enough to fill a tennis ball. The patient must have felt immense relief through your careful and thorough clearing of what must be years of sludge. Bravo!

Amazing work! Hello from San Francisco. This was definitely NOT boring. I loved every minute of this extraction. I could almost feel the relief he must’ve felt with each layer of wax and skin removed. Ear aches are so painful. Thanks, Neel Raithatha The Wax Whisperer. 👌🏽

WOW! Looked like a really tough procedure for both the Patient and Yourself. I think you showed a remarkable steady hand and performed very Professionally. I'm sure the Patient had to be very relieved in the end.

My brother had a stutter because of a growth on his voice box, mispronounced words quite badly. Even now, he speaks slowly and carefully. You speak very well now. Great job.

First of all, thank you for sacrificing watching a live game to load this video. I’m a huge baseball fan and I’m not sure if he able to sacrifice watching a game once they are back! Second, I didn’t find this boring at all! It was fascinating! I learned so much and it was a great video to boot!!! Third, I would never have guessed you suffered with stuttering when younger. We are our own worst critics. Someone above said you speak in cursive - I agree, but I think it’s more calligraphy ☺️. Thanks for the hard work on the video and also with the client. He sounded like he was absolutely miserable before you helped him.

That was no way one bit boring! I enjoyed every second, the amount removed was unbelievable, not forgetting a lot went up the zolna tube. Thank you for being honest and explaining to us about your past stammer, I think it was very brave on your part. It's very inspiring for anyone with this condition. Is it too late to pick up where you left off with your PHD?

Why do you apologise for doing your job. You are an amazing audiologist,we love you & your work as we get to learn so much from you. If people don't like it let them jog on. They are plain ignorant to just how much you help you are to so many different way's. To me you will alway's be number 1 in the world of patient care & you great knowledge in the realm's of audiology. You carry on with your passion for patient care without apologising for it. You are highly thought of by your fan's & we don't want you to apologise for what you do,no matter how long the video is. I love you just as much as do many other's, for which I hope I'm not speaking out of turn. Stand tall Mr Neel, you are the best. ❤❤

I'm 61 and had ruptured eardrum and repeated otitis media since age 7. I've had mastoidectomy but my GP has never referred me for investigations of that cavity despite repeated infections. The idea of infections spreading to my skull terrifies me. Thanks for helping this person.

Good heavens! That person had to feel so much better! What a great job you did! Your speech is flawless and no one should consider this boring! It is fascinating or else we would not watch! Never feel you have to justify to the viewer why you are not using this or that instrument. YOU are the professional. We do not have a living, breathing patient we are actively treating. You are amazing.
