(546) Feather STRING PULL ~ Acrylic pouring technique ~ Fluid art ~

In today's episode I'm going to be making a feather! This acrylic pouring technique should be easy, but I always have some problems. Maybe I just complicate too much :D
TECHNIQUE: String pull
COLOURS:
Boesner black
Pebeo iridescent precious gold
Amsterdam pyrrole red
Amsterdam titanium white mixed with Australian floetrol
MATERIAL:
8x10 inch canvas
Acrylic paint mixed with pouring medium
String (yarn, chain)
PROCESS:
Pour thin base coat on canvas
Draw a line for a feather
Soak the string (yarn) with white
Pull a string

Beautiful feather Fiona 🤗 considering it’s not your normal technique it’s gorgeous (as always) and your attention to detail is remarkable. Thank you for saying about having not much background paint for chain/string pulls as I tried my first chain pull butterfly a couple of days ago and must have had too much paint 🙈 so I’ll try again with less paint now I know where it went wrong. I"ll have to try doing a feather. I have a question that has nothing to do with paint pouring. Is there any type of historical military museum or society in Slovenia? I have a friend trying to trace a grandfather who was in the army during WWI. My father was in the same war.
