Several times in the 70's (?), I went to the Hilton and instead of Elvis, I opted for the James Brown show plus the Ike and Tina Turner review. in the Hilton lounge. That lounge was as large as many main showrooms in Vegas.

@Anthony curtis You were seeing a lot of EDC partygoers at Rio because Rio is one of the few pick up points for the shuttle that takes people to the event, so tons of people staying North of strip (Venetian, Wynn, Fountainbleu, etc) were being picked up or dropped off there.

As a tourist to Vegas i would always go because Vegas always had the best odds the best gaming the newest machines, but sadly though thats changing. Constraints on table games only high volatility slots low pay scale video poker and everything else is becoming over priced plus the absurd tipping culture. You have to go off strip and now Fremont is following suit. Igues ill be making more trips to Oklahoma
