That 'German carve' looks more like the early 50's Les Paul carve to me. Super deep dish!

I like how Tokai manages to get the dot inlay placement in the correct spacing. Even Squier fails to do this a lot of the times. It's closer to a Fender than some Fender products.

Also a reason that Tokais are often used as a base model for the vintage fakes

That Ibanez Petrucci is sweet it’s a good color and I love the wild 80s colors but in my opinion the black and white and the camo ones are the coolest. Lots of cool Japanese guitars get em while you can, the secret will eventually get out on those old Tokais . Bang for buck the Japanese builds are incredible especially if you can get them for a grand or under. I don’t know how Ibanez can still offer the 550 genesis for 1000 they no longer come with a case but for quality and versatility are hard to beat if you don’t mind them being a little pointy.

I like how the blue Charvel has a chamfer on the back of the body cutaway, aiding upper fet access not one bit, lol. Love the Martin 12 string D35S and the Italia was beautifully kitsch. Some very nice guitars, and quite a number too.

When I see young musicians on stage playing relic guitars I just shake my head. It takes a long time and a lot of playing hrs to brand a guitar.
