55 Pitt St - Structural Steel Jump Structure

We are thrilled to be working with @Mirvac on-site at 55 Pitt Street, jump-starting the structure using structural steel for their premium 240 metre commercial office tower.
The construction team have erected an impressive 180 tons of structural steel within the first 10 days of mobilisation, coordinated with the support of Mirvac and the temporary works engineers.
We have utilised a dual lift process to unload and erect the columns, with the heaviest column weighing 19 ton including reinforcement. These 2 metre diameter spliced columns are now free standing over 23 metres, which were designed to support the weight of the 240 metre tower and jump the feature podium structure to level 5. Over the coming weeks these columns will extend 41 metres to level 9.
