Hey guys just like I mentioned I have a family day today and won't be updating links - some things are lighting deals so some deals come/go. If something isn't on sale when you click it im sorry I didn't update the link ❤️

Love you channel your videos are inspiring and always motivates me to get rid of all my stuff. Hi Kallie! Have you ever thought of writing a book about all the stuff you talk about in these videos? I'd love to buy that kind of book especially written by you, because you have a way of breaking things down well and understanding what probably most people think or do! I believe any publisher would be interested, if they saw your KZbin Channel. Or if writing just isn't for you, can you do a video about your favorite organizing/cleaning/budgeting videos?

When you were talking about the dutch ovens and you said a few times that you got the Lodge one, I thought you were saying you got the large one, but with a Boston accent! I had to rewind several times, just to hear you saying "large" with that accent! Then I saw the word Lodge on the lid! Hahaha! That was a good laugh! 😂

I've had the Amazon brand glass Tupperware in my cart for over a week now, they raised the price by like double just to put the Prime Day "discount" onto it :/ and now even with the "deal" it's more expensive than it was yesterday...

Yeah stores have done that dirty trick for years! My sister used to work in retail, and anytime a large sale was happening she told us how much they marked up the price over the previous weeks and that it's really not worth it.

Good for you, keeping a close eye. My Mom always told me: A bargain isn't a bargain, unless you were going to buy it in the first place. I had a few things in my cart, and they didn't go down, and almost all of my 'saved for later' items didn't change or they went up. I try not to fall for sales either.

Pertaining to the security stuff, two things. 1. WiFi security systems are the easier way to hack into your internet system. 2. If you have a security system, be sure to call your homeowners insurance, there’s usually a discount when you have a security system.

I think a lot of your viewers forget they have the ability to choose and move along if they aren't interested in something. I won't be shopping but it is mostly because school fees and summer activities are very costly and timing is off. I will have two high schoolers this year and that means almost $1k in fees for registrations. My grade schooler's fees are more manageable.

URGH! I just bought the Little Green Machine last week and tried it out this weekend. I kept telling myself wait until Prime Day, it will likely go on sale. I couldn't resist. Had to try it. Again, unimpressed by Bissel.

Unimpressed?
@terrirojas2 жыл бұрын
@@Jen84601 yes, i've tried two other bissell tools (pet hand held vacuum and the steam shot) and both were disappointing. decided to give the green machine a try, and while it did remove stains, the suction was not strong enough to remove the remaining water from the fabric on a second pass. does that make sense? after drying my couch fabric is SO stiff and is now stinky. maybe it's meant for surface cleaning rather than deeper cleaning that i was hoping to do. i'm going to attempt it one more time - this time just with clean water and see what happens. I'll keep you posted.
@Jen846012 жыл бұрын
@@terrirojas I thought that's what you meant but wanted to be sure. I have been wanting to get the little green machine for awhile now but couldn't decide. I'm sorry you were disappointed and if it still doesn't get better, hopefully you can return. Thanks for commenting and for responding.
@terrirojas2 жыл бұрын
@@Jen84601 hi. so i cheated a bit and dusted and brushed baking soda into my sofa this morning and waited about 4 hours. Then vacuumed it up. Then used the machine with "warm" (the water comes out cold despite putting hot water as per the instructions in the machine) clean water to clean one side of each curtain. The dry baking powder already took care of most of the smell and soften the fabric. So, I watched how much the machine sucked up - it does a fairly decent job if you use the front edge of the attachment like a blade and push hard into the cushion. They're not dry yet, so I can't tell you if the smell is gone beyond just with baking soda. BUT, before all of that, I used it on a light colored chair we have. Took before pictures. It removed the few small stains on the cushion but the arms are still dirty. So... I feel like a spray bottle with a diy solution, a brush, and a shop vac would do the same job. OR better yet, the next couch will have removable, washer safe, covers. So, the little green machine, good if your upholstery is new and you're looking to keep it fresh and remove small, stains. Not good for old, worn staining or deep cleaning. Update: it did collect some pretty dirty water - so I need to give credit where credit is due. 7 years of dirt and dust will take more than two passes to clean all of that up! But I am pretty disappointed about the chair.
@AN-jw2oe2 жыл бұрын
I would think that a shop vac would be a good option if you’re looking for sucking power (that can suck up liquids).

I love so many aspects of your channel, but the "you don't need all this stuff" video recently released (literally yesterday) followed by this "look at all this great stuff on sale" video is pretty disingenuous. The fact is that no one needs any of it, especially at a time when inflation is so high and Amazon profits are soaring.
@nicolevanreij35932 жыл бұрын
I was thinking exactly the same thing. This video and the previous one are a big contradiction.
@nicoleslachetka32152 жыл бұрын
But she said in yesterdays video she’s not a minimalist, and she did mention in this one that she was only sharing stuff she genuinely uses each day. I get frustrated with “minimalist” who push products from their sponsors but deals from dollar tree, Walmart, target, and Amazon is part of her regular content. I didn’t find it contradictory. 🤷🏻♀️
@nicolevanreij35932 жыл бұрын
“But” … there is always reason (such a good deal!) to get more stuff. No one needs any of this. Start living with what you have and that really saves time. Example: at 9min why a second dust buster?

For all you folks complaining about this video vs. Kallie’s content on decluttering…please get a grip and get off your high horse. She is not saying everyone should get online and buy up every deal! She did some research on the best deals being offered on items she thinks are worthwhile, so if there any items anyone actually needs or has been wanting to purchase, she’s just letting you know that now might be time to pick it up at a sale price. It’s not like she’s spewing hundreds of mindless, useless items. Really, people, take a breath and chill!

I‘m honestly shocked that you are posting a video promoting shopping for bargains after all of your fantastic previous videos about how to declutter and keep the influx of „stuff“ to a minimum. Your other videos have been great but this one gets a dislike from me. The last thing we need as aspiring de-clutterers is a huge sale to tempt our newfound skills. If you didn‘t have it before then chances are high that you don‘t really need it now, either.
