Helena Bonham Carter is so under-appreciated. She has been a great actress for a long time now. This film does not appeal to me, it looks so obvious, but I hope it does its job: Snag some awards for HBC.

London1869, Here, here! I have loved Helena Bonham Carter since first I saw her playing Ophelia to Mel Gibson's Hamlet. I don't love that movie, per se; it's just where my love for HBC was born. It reached absolute zenith in Fight Club. Hell, even putting her in ape make-up, such as in Planet of the Apes, doesn't bury her awesomeness! 😍😙🙃

Legends say Helena Bonham Carter has never used a different hair style.
@darkb4light066 жыл бұрын
Pandas are cool Not disagreeing but I think maybe her hair is naturally curly and it's hard to do much of anything with.? Just a shot in the dark.
@bigred84326 жыл бұрын
Her hair is part of her trademark although she rarely uses her actual own hair. This is a wig, as it has been in most movies. It's no different from most actors, it just seems more extreme because her hair is curly.
@AlvaroIbacacheS5 жыл бұрын
It’s the most obvious and basic way to make a character look insane (basically 90% of Helena’s characters now), but she has wear some different hairstyles, like in Cinderella or that Elizabeth Taylor movie
@izdihar905 жыл бұрын
She has said in an interview that she prefer her hair like that, because when she has messy hairstyle, it doesn’t need to be retouched many times. But it’s definitely magnificent look of messy kind of hair. I think only she can wear it best.

Stuart: Hey Stuart thank you for your recognition of exactly what I have been texting to others about! You’re seeing it too as I did. But there’s gotta be serious action taken for anyone else who’s in this particular situation today. It’s 1 thing to text about it & another thing to take an actual STAND AGAINST LOUD & VERY CLEAR > BUT Then the LAW steps in to arrest people who are really trying to help out people who are really being treated with awful powerful poisons & call it medication. I watched my very close friend sister suffering terribly & forced to take Clonodine. This medication changed her into a nasty person & then she jumped off the Main Street Bridge & once she hit the water she had NO IDEA HOW SHE GOT INTO THIS COLD FILTHY WATER. She THANK ALMIGHTY GOD was saved > but it truly was the fault of the psychiatric hospital that triggered that behaviour. I, her sister(my close friend) & the mother will never forget this frightening experience. And it didn’t have to happen. 🤷♀️

I felt her situation. But the hospital still managed to disregard her choice(s) to not take any drugs & instead injected her with poisons full well knowing it’d eventually kill her & shut down her organs. The woman couldn’t urinate properly! I wonder why?

Am watching as much as possible on my TV KZbin & realized that I didn’t catch the whole entire movie on my PVR. Darn it! What I’m catching is really really good & incredibly impressive in a real life story so I’m aware! Would really like to get this movie too on DVD hopefully we’ll all get our hands on this one!!! I wanna follow this story to the step, or to the “T” the woman who’s playing Elenor Reise (Helena Bonham Carter) how she’s describing/described Elenor is really bang-on!!! Although she had brain problems or whatever brain situation she was suffering from; the way Helena Bonham Carter described how she was even in the hospital towards the other patients was amazing 😉 just absolutely amazing & such a good hearted woman/lady! ♥️ I’d really love to see her efforts go into 💯 % effect rt now today!!! And I’d like to see TONS of people backing up her personal efforts to help those in the psychiatric system receive just exactly what they want & need & not be lied 🤥 to re: the horrible effects of any drug(s) they’re taking. UP FRONT & OPEN! Way to go Helena Bonham Carter but it’s very sad that Eleanor lost her life due to all this excuse my language her... But psychiatric BULL SHIT!!! Psychiatric POISONS! EVERYBODY THINK 🤔! Let’s STAND UP FOR ELEANOR REISE & CONTINUE THE MUCH NEEDED FIGHT ESP, IN HER NAME!!!👍👏👆PLEASE SPEAK UP ASAP!!! U COULD BE NEXT OR A FAMILY MEMBER! I’M VERY SERIOUS HERE!

A deeply thought-provoking, minor masterpiece of a film (though it could have done with editing in conclusion as it does drag on). Colin: I’ve watched it too, & I can feel her sad situation. This is an absolutely awesome film. It made me feel deeply saddened by the horrible experiences/brutal treatment(s) that hospitals claim to help; only to “really knowingly injure the patient or eventually kill them as was seen/done. This sickening situation takes place many many times way too many to count & WE NEED TO TAKE A REALLY BIG STAND TOGETHER THIS EVIL TREATMENT AGAINST ANYMORE HUMANS BEING HURT, POISONED, or KILLED cause that’s really where we’re headed! Don’t you agree?! Sure hope so.

She certainly deserves one. But the film looked for some time like it was never even going to get a release. And has now been released with minimal fanfare. You don't normally score an Oscar nomination unless there's a substantial PR campaign to promote the film and the performance. If hardly anyone sees the film it has next to no chance.

My two favorite actors both staring in a movie about a topic that I can personally relate two. I have a complexity of mental illness and spend around half my time in hospital and I am constantly fighting to have my say in which care and medication I receive. If neither of them win an oscar then that proves that there is no justice in this world.

Alaurah: I hear you very clearly! I got my issues too. Do u live in Wpg MB or somewhere else? Reason I ask is would really like to chat with you about this issue. It’s incredibly accurate that what you’re going through is an outrage. Hospitals are supposed to be treating you correctly/properly NOT ignoring what you are saying & still making you take what they think is going to help! They should take it themselves & see how their bodies would react with this poison inside it! This crap effects the brain as well, so it can affect all your organs. Don’t know how to connect, but if there was a way I’d do so quickly. My name is Barbara. Re: movie I felt something inside me that made me respond to others. If we can’t connect then PLEASE PRAY 🙏THAT JESUS CHRIST STEPS IN & CORRECTS WHAT ISN’T WORKING PROPERLY. My prayer 🙏 for you sweetie!!! ♥️👍

This movie was absolutely exceptional! It touched my heart ♥️! Yet at the same time it talks about just how precisely accurate it is in regards to the disregard of the so-called hospital claiming to really help a person out who’s truly in some kind of serious troubling depression or whatever type of mental/emotional distress or disturbances. The hospital isn’t any longer willing to “authentically, 1st Do No Evil or Harm!” That’s been tossed out the window!!! And we all should realize this. What was done to precious Elenor Reise was battery & absolutely a form of psychological rape! This was a really touching story & the fact that it’s based on a true story is something else as well! This true story of her life should be made SO LOUDLY that the hospital systems will NOT BE ABLE TO TURN A DEAF EAR TO THEIR ABUSES!!! I’m LITERALLY SO BEYOND SICKENED BY THE LIES of the so-called hospital stating that they’re trying so HARD to SAVE PEOPLES’ LIVES that’s B.S! And everyone watching this movie/real life story HAS to PLEASE WAKE UP & REALIZE JUST HOW MANY LIVES ARE CUNNINGLY being DESTROYED! Watch out when those who are working in the hospital system are inadvertently injuring & then killing their patients! They’ll pay from the ALMIGHTY CREATOR JESUS CHRIST!!! They won’t be able to look away at their part in hurting or maiming or killing a patient. 🤷♀️👆NO EXCUSES WILL BE ACCEPTED BY JESUS CHRIST during His judgement time.
