New version: • 55 Tage in Peking [Ger...
55 Days at Peking is a 1963 American epic film drama in Technirama and Technicolor, produced by Samuel Bronston and directed by Nicholas Ray, Andrew Marton (credited as second unit director), and Guy Green (uncredited). The film was released by Allied Artists and stars Charlton Heston, Ava Gardner, and David Niven. The screenplay was written by Philip Yordan, Bernard Gordon, Ben Barzman and Robert Hamer, while the music score was composed by Dimitri Tiomkin; the theme song "So Little Time" was composed by Tiomkin with lyrics by Paul Francis Webster.
55 Days in Peking is a dramatization of the siege of the foreign legations' compounds in Peking (now known as Beijing) during the Boxer Rebellion, which took place from 1898 to 1900 in China. It is based on the book by Noel Gerson.
In addition to directing, Nicholas Ray plays the minor role as the head of the American diplomatic mission in China. This film is also the first known appearance of future martial arts film star Yuen Siu Tien. Japanese film director Juzo Itami, credited in the film as "Ichizo Itami", appears as Col. Goro Shiba.
Sung by the Botho Lucas Choir.

In Gefahr und Not verband,
Widerstanden sie im Feinde,
Jeder für sein Vaterland.
Und sie kämpften und sie trotzen,
Einer großen Übermacht,
Und sie kämpften und siegten
Und gewannen diese Schlacht.
Und es ward der Trommel Dröhnen,
Und es ward der Hörner Klang,
Zum Lied von Peking 55 Tage lang.
Zum Lied von Peking 55 Tage lang...

First Order Ball 1). Those bases are to far out and too widely spaced to be of any military value at all except in a war of aggression. 2). China faces no realistic military threats as of 2019. Literally every time in history when a country with no external threats embarks on a massive program of militarization and expansion, they go to war with someone (e.g., USSR->Finland, Germany->Poland x3, Arab countries->Israel). 3. Those artificial islands they’re building violate a whole slew of international treaties, which China is party to. 4.) China has demanded the departure of the 7th fleet from the Formosa straight, which is considered a precursor for an invasion of Taiwan. 5). These bases are intended to launch and support an air war, unlike the American SAC bases you refer to, which were only intended to launch B-52’s and B-1’s for a second strike against the USSR, not fight a prolonged war and support amphibious invasions. Furthermore, America’s bases were holdovers from WWII, only kept because of the Cold War. China has no external military threat, therefore, they must have a rational besides pure defense these islands.

Andrej Jerman actually on the Wikipedia it states the battle of Peking (Beijing) was a multi national force led by Britain in which the relieved the siege of foreign legations during the boxer rebellion. From the 20th of June 1900 Boxer forces AND IMPERIAL Chinese troops had besieged foreign diplomats, citizens and soldiers within the legations of Austria-Hungary 🇦🇹🇭🇺Belgium 🇧🇪 Britain 🇬🇧 France 🇫🇷 Italy 🇮🇹 Germany 🇩🇪 Japan 🇯🇵 Netherlands 🇳🇱 Russia 🇷🇺 Spain 🇪🇸 and the U.S. 🇺🇸 within the city of Peking. Thus far proving that it wasn't just an imperial field trip to kill some Chinese "peasants" but there was also some Chinese imperial forces as I mentioned. But this battle is to defend foreign legations and possibly foreign affairs I maybe wrong about foreign affairs correct me if so.

I absolutely love this. Tag it as hatespeech, but this is the truth revealed about how rich German culture has been for millennia. From what I have listened to, music from different regions seemed to have depreciated in authenticity and originality, as form of the nation's culture. One definitive nation that has not depreciated in musical culture is most certainly Germany! From the medieval music all the way to the early twentieth century, I love it all! Heck, I don't even like music past 1830 for the most part, while 98% of the music I listen to past that time is this kind! Da hast du wirklich wieder was Tolles rausgesucht, das Lied gefällt mir wirklich sehr.
