Always Loved the Sport Quattro ( im in my 50’s). Great to see ‘new builds ‘ . Boxy arches . 5cyl , turbo blow off, short gears fab. Would prefer period wheels and tyre wall. But fair play to the owner.

Ich hab mit meinem Vater mal Walter Röhrl live bei ner Rally gesehen. Mein Traumauto! Alles was du sagst, stimmt. Ich bin zwar auch schon etwas älter, aber wer braucht E-Autos (also für die Emotionen). Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass Kumpels zusammenkommen, um bei einem Bier über die Wicklungen ihres lautlosen E-Motors zu sprechen. Werde mir die Autos, auf dem Channel nie leisten können, aber so kann man immer ein weniog mitfahren. Prima channel! Weiter so!

😍 The 5 Cyl Audi from that era always sounded amazing, and that turbo sounds like cobra when it mock strikes ... that whole car sounds ready to bite you if you don't handle it with care. Awesome piece of kit. Some others in that garage that look like fun too. The X-Bow seems like a good 'winter car' to take out into the mountains. 😝 Are you going to get your hands on the new HWA?

...until then I'm currently putting a turbo 5 cylinder into my 2dr mk7 6mt GTI. It will be tuned to only ~400hp but should still be a great time on the road and in the canyons, especially with the manual transmission.

Jesus, the RS6 looks stunning, for once I 100% back a modern special edition vehicle. A while back red S2 on Schaefchen's channel, now the Quattro on yours - I love both of these. This one seems refined down to the tiniest iddy biddys though. I can only imagine how good such sound system must work. S/o to the owner for making it up to his taste, not remaining fully puristic just because. You mentioned your build. That's pretty sad, that green was drop dead gorgeous, but to be fair, I wanted to see the build so bad, and yet I forgot about it. It's respectable though, if it's difficult to make things work from the legal standpoint, it might be better to just shut it rather than force it beyond your capabilities. Hope that one day you'll figure something else out. :)

Audi was already the first to have cars with a drag coeff of under 0.30; the Audi Quattros were the cars of the 80s and early 90s, especially when you lived in the mountains ad this one was the most sexy one of all Ever since Audi has kind of lost it although the RS Avant models were always fun

I love what LCE is doing. now in all seriousness I'm all about the silver 997 TT and the 911's. I have a special love for these 5 cyl audi's. I saw the one in the garage. I would prefer that white o.e. wheelbase quattro. I grew up going to the audi dealer and loving the ur quattro. my dad finally got his baby the '85 coupe gt which was the normal version the was used to have the normal ur quattro which was the gt. no boxed fenders or quattro but the same shape minus the body kit and plaid seats but it was a bueatiful car. that's why I cant seem to love the swb I'm just used to the long doors and hatchback 2+2. I loved that car. we test drove the ur quattro like 5 times knowing he was only buying a gt. lol I'm praying they are going to give you the 997

Look at the front wheel alignment from the along-the-side -view. When you accelerate hard and then come off from throttle it looks like there is a toe change. Inside view does not reveal significant pull in the steering wheel in similar situations. I wonder if it has the VW type lower A-arms with compliance rubbers? I can’t tell how it feels, probably ok, but it sure does not look right. I have had a Audi 100 (Ur-)Quattro and I have a 1997 S8. Both cars great, very stable, good in fast corners, clumsy in slow. The do not have the best steering. I also have a 996.1 which IMO has the best steering feel of all 911 ever, even better than than in the air cooled. But this is the car you should have got stuck in the snow - with proper tyres. The Ur-Quattro pulls better than any other AWD system.
