I request nothing beyond the thickly cushioned luxury of seats available either in soft Corinthian leather. Yet, it's on the highway where Cordoba best answers my demands. I have much more in this small Chrysler than great comforts are in the most pleasant prize. I have great confidence, for which there can be no price. Had an 1983 black with gray and a black canves top with the dodge mirada mags white letters tires and boy that was one of the best and beautiful car I have ever own.in the 8 years I never had a problem just gas and oil I regretted selling it.but in 4 months later I saw it and it was hit in the front clip.My heart drop.

My high school sweetheart back in 1981 had a Cordoba that her dad gave her. Great cars. Actually the most reliable car Chrysler ever manufactured during that time.

These are really beautiful- When I was 15 years old in 1983 I sat in the LAST year of the Cordoba in a Chrysler Dealer (Transcona Dodge) in Winnipeg, Canada (my Dad was getting an oil change service on his 1979 Dodge St. Regis sedan). I DREAMED about getting one when I had graduated and had a full-time job, but sadly never did. I joined the Army and for years needed nothing except a bus pass!!

I use to have one just like that but mine was dark blue with a lighter blue vinyl blue top with blue cloth interior it had the 318 V8 best car I ever drove never let me down that was wen I was 19yrs old I'm 47yrs old now this video brought back many good memories thank you very much for sharing this video

My dad had one of these in butterscotch pale yellow, gorgeous, classy car. I got to drive it often as a teen. Quick for a 6 cyl. A drunk driver hit my dad almost head on and totalled it. My dad and four kids survived, but the car didn’t. Sad.

I had a silver 1983 Chrysler Cordoba. It was fully loaded (minus leather seats). I wish I still had that car. It was my favourite!

A nicer than the imperial , in Mexico at that time we have no smog devices or catalytic things here was 360 v8 4bbl the only engine choice, fast at the time and luxurious

Will the phone still work with a modern network? Nice looking car and an under appreciated generation of Chrysler products. Thinking there was a little known HO 360 option available for these cars.

Not for the US market, there was literature of it being offered, but nothing became of it, only slant sixes and 318s made it into them. Even if there was a 360 hipo installed, it would've at most made 185hp that year with all the smog choking it-but that is a big improvement over the 135hp 318 I suppose.

@TC Fenstermaker Thanks for the info. Poster Jorge Carretero wrongly insists on calling it a CB radio. I thought it was a type of radio telephone (similar to an army field radio). To use it - in a very limited area - you had to place the call thru an operator. Then they would charge you an arm and a leg for the call, more than what you would pay to use a prison pay phone.

Earth colors were all the rage from the mid 70’s to early 80’s but I’m with you ......a basic black with red interior or basic white with black interior will always be a classic, and never look dated.
