The last cell phone I bought didn't have an alert tone that I could hear. I have some hearing loss and the only ringtone that I can really hear is the old rotary phone ring. Some of us older folks go back to what we know just works. Y'all stay safe.

Dan, along with your superior trucking skills, you know how to put a video together. Your editing skills are the best. The content is entertaining, to the point, and usually under 17 minutes! Other channels should copy your method.

Really like your trucking videos. Had a driver who used to deliver where I worked. He told me about the worst place he had to go to was in New York City. The only way he could back his 53 ft. trailer in was was to go the wrong way down a one way street. It was the only load he ever accepted for them.

Really enjoy your channel Dan. When those guys nearly dropped that equipment, it reminded me of a time when I went to Edwards Airforce Base to pickup a very large LeBlonde lathe, that was being transported to a local Jr College. Same situation, they were trying to load this massive lathe on my lowboy, using 2 average size forklifts. I stood way back because they were making me hella nervous. Lol. Well, you guessed it, they dropped the damn thing, and it rolled over on the front side, and broke off nearly every control mounted on the front. I believe it was surplus equipment, but still

Hello, Dan. First time to comment but have watched your videos for a few months now. Not seen everything. Enjoy the content particularly the road and pick up and delivery scenes. I like seeing how it is all done. I am a 74 year old son of a now deceased truck driver. I traveled briefly with my dad as a child, not as much as I would have liked. I like trucks, drivers and knowing more about the industry. It amazes me. Its been my life's ambition to drive a big rig but not to be a driver, now for sure. It thrills me when you pass through my area of west Alabama. Re: your video 559 from Michigan to Tuscaloosa to Love's at I-20/59 Eutaw (sounds like Utah) to Mobile/Calvert. My home is about 35 miles from both Tuscaloosa and the Love's (very familiar with both). Also familiar with both route options to Calvert and the Pilot there. Concur with your choice of Hwy 43. My wife and I recently passed thru Calvert. Curiosity took us down the "long" Steel Drive before we were turned back. Surprisingly disappointed! You also passed within 10 miles of home on Hwy 82 from Tuscaloosa to Starkville, MS. Sorry we didn't get video (but then no comments about hwy litter). Thank you for your service. Keep up the good work. I like your tractor and trailer.

being a company driver, i didn't have that option except for one thing. after my 2 accidents in Queens, i flatly refused any pick ups or deliveries into NYC. only delivery i had with another company was to deliver some exotic stuff to an airport in NE Long Island. since i got there a day early. it was very quiet there and i didn't idle my truck. didn't mind that run and after that delivery i got the hell out there.
@halwilliams16822 жыл бұрын
A guy I went to high school with told me he made the mistake of delivering to some area of Philadelphia. He said a guy pointed a gun at him while another with bolt cutters cut the padlock and then some more joined in and started unloading. He told me never again. I always thought he was exaggerating but the way crime is now I believe him.

Hey Dan, question, when I have to drive through the woods as you call it, it drives me crazy to get behind 4 wheelers going 10-15 mph under the speed limit. It almost always pays me to take the long way around just so I can pass slower vehicles or have them be able to pass me on upgrades. Just wondering if that’s a problem for you. Great job!
