@@Lukasdenh To severely damage the moon and render it useless to earth, it would only take an impact of an object the size of Coney Island which is 2.7 miles long. There is no atmosphere on the moon, to slow down or break a part and burn up objects before Impact, so the moon is very, very, very vulnerable!... Also, If the planet Jupiter came anywhere near earth or the moon, it's mega gravitational pull would not only destroy earth but completely swallow up both the earth and its satellite "The Moon". So you see, it would not take a large object at all, to be completely devastating to all life here on Earth!.... I was walking home on a clear night back in 2004 it was a full moon And i was amazed how clear the moon was When I turned away and then looked back I saw a flash on the moon surface it looked like a small explosion. I told my brother about what I had seen but he just gave me that look If to say What ever bro. lol. I still think about what I had seen that night And everytime its a full moon Im always on the look out for that flash of light. Space you rock

@@falcoperegrinus82 Why does the moon receive so many more meteor crashes the the earth? Do you know?
@falcoperegrinus823 жыл бұрын
@@patrick8128 Because unlike Earth, the moon has no atmosphere to ablate meteors. Also, due to that lack of an atmosphere, there's no weathering on the moon, so there's no process like erosion to eventually "erase" craters. Also, unlike Earth, the Moon has no tectonic activity to "recycle" the surface or volcanic activity to cover up craters. All that is why craters accumulate on the Moon and each looks as fresh as the day it happened.

Is that all you got? Meteorites are possibly the single greatest arguments against a flat earth? Where do they come from? How come it travels from wherever it comes from, and then burns up in the atmosphere? How come it didn't smash the dome? You have some explaining to do.
@andywright88035 жыл бұрын
@Taylor Newell OK, I'm classifying you lot. There are so many varieties. If we are going to discuss this, I want to know your beliefs. What shape do you think the earth is? Does space exist in your eyes? Why do you believe as you do? What possible evidence do you have other than the possibility that some things can be faked, which is a general truth about just about anything, but a valid reason for nothing
@andywright88035 жыл бұрын
@Taylor Newell what about the ISS? You can see that with a telescope and there are online programs that predict to the second when it flys overhead. The other satellites are MUCH smaller, space is huge, and they are put up in such a way that they won't come close together. Why on earth SHOULD you have pictures of them. When do you think that NASA has lied? Why do you reject videos and photos taken from space out of hand?
@andywright88035 жыл бұрын
@Taylor Newell Since when is a composite photo fake? Most smartphones have the technology to make panoramic photos by stitching ordinary photos together. Your argument would be that they are fake as well
@andywright88035 жыл бұрын
@Taylor Newell Ho can the ISS be a light in the sky, when on the occasions it transits the sun or moon, kzbin.info/www/bejne/pJC7cmV_jbhkaKc you can see the outline in detail including during a total eclipse kzbin.info/www/bejne/opbTgqKLadSYoZY or how about kzbin.info/www/bejne/g3vdZmyBrpymhq8 (how much detail do you want?) You could even see, when it was being built, the outline during the transits change to mirror the stage it was at the time of construction.
