I prefer knobs. You can get at them with a toe while still playing. Unless you're barefoot, sliders would be a problem.

The Victory Sheriff was my favorite dirty sound. I have no idea how accurate it was and don't really care. That's the distorted tone I hear in my head but can never quite achieve. I always end up with something more brittle and bitey. As for clean, I really liked the Magnatone.

I think the future of guitar and amp modeling using AI - will be an interface which lets you select a song - and puts all Guitar (or Bass or Keys or Synths) tones from that song as patches on your pedal board. Something that iOS apps like Tonebridge is t trying

Does it actually work reliably though? I had to return my poly verbs bacuase at least half the time it simply didnt work. Andertons told me they'd had lots returned for the same reason yet Loki told me my experience was unique 🤔. If its reliable then its a decnt thing, but once bitten twice shy for me I'm afraid.

The sounds seem to be really good, but the user interface is pretty gimmicky. I’m with you on the ‘71 Twin Reverb sound-I thought the clean Marshall was a lot better. The early ‘70s was a bad time for Fender’s amp quality-I bought a new Twin in 1970, and that thing was a dog. Perhaps their Twin simulation needs to be EQed better-it seemed way too dark. Which is weird, because my ‘70 had almost no bottom end at all. I used to run the bass control almost all the way up to have any bass at all. I’ve played through some great-sounding Twins, but that one I had was horrible.

If they get rid of that interface and make a lower-cost version that's controlled by an app over bluetooth, I'm interested. idc if it's a bare pedal with only connectors and a couple lights.

allowing control via app over Bluetooth only is a horrible idea. Look at how bad the UAD pedals are because of it.

Nice 🤔but i don't understand why they always want to have a very soft face as the point to sacrifice informations who could help us much more by just wrighting the 2functions with a simple / separator for exemple treeble / reverb and same far all others. For them it's like we use only this pedale to be able to remember all the parameters at once like this in one sight it's crazy 😂🙈

It needs 13 more amps so schoolboys can snigger My nagging worry would be durability and repair. Any vaguely competent repair guy can have a go at fixing a worn out mechanical switch or knob. How many know how to fix a slidey led touchscreen computer thingy if/when it goes glitchy a few years down the line. I guess I worry you have fewer avenues.

It's just so dumb to have such a complicated and convoluted UI like this in 2024 - we have the touch screens. It's not 1993. This is just such a turn off no matter how good it sounds. Just put in a damn touch screen ffs, or at the very least bluetooth and an app to use to make it easy and simple on your phone. Sorry, but the clown making it is living in the past. The world has moved on, this isn't good enough, there's a million better options on the market.

Equipment like this is just nonsensical to me. I know many people get a lot out of them, but I can't see how they're better than a proper amp with a couple of decent pedals. For gigging, I want something simple, easy to set up, and with one good sound (not 56 sounds; none of which really sound as good as an amp, and only some of which _might_ be ok). At a live gig, you can't go messing with menus when all you want to do is adjust the volume, tone, or reverb. And what happens if the computer at the heart of your device crashes? I say KISS.
