Here I am, 624gs, full pvp gear, and decent thrust and elem resists, playing bow, having to study Newton's law every shot I make, calculating distance and gravity and target running direction, arrow speed... to hit them for 2k damage, while somebody, from the safest distance possible, only needs to point and click, no downsides, no damage penalties, and can deal 10k+ in a couple shots. Sounds balanced to me.

Bow and musket have ups and downs, bow does more damage per shot. Only thing broken with musket is mortal empowerment.

Learn to play a weapon that isn't too easy, if you learn to aim with a bow, maybe I'll talk to you, until then, watch the nerfs pile up until AGS decides to completely rework musket, then you'll be forced to use your brain and not some hitscan weapon that does everything for you.

hey i have almost full 600gs items and i have 300dex 100int 50con. you have 300dex 150int and 50con. is that from the food you showed in the video? do you always have it on? also is it worth for me to do 250dex 150int 50con for the elemental damage if i dont have foods?

The only reason I dont use runeglass in musket is because the dot steals almost every kill which means I dont get Mortal Empower stacks. In opr I might run it, since eventually I will get 15 stacks. But in war I need to get my stacks as fast as possible for the most benefits.

​@@n1k3ee I feel like keen, since overtime you would deal more damage. Elemental damage over keen would mean you would only be able to hit headshots to match damage output of having the keen. Which just isn't possible in proper scenarios, esp in a sweaty war where healers/other dex know how to .

I don't see any musket with more than 900 damage at the trading post.. does it have to be crafted?

damage doesn't come from a weapons base(the number you see on TP items for example), increasing damage in new world comes from Attributes and where you commit those Attribute points. So with Dexterity & Intelligence gear + Mushroom Filet Food you will have around 450-500 points to commit to different specifications/classes. For instance Musket is most powerful at 300dex, 150int, 50con stat split. Refer to the end of the video on how I distribute my stats and see what pieces of gear have which attributes locked in(can't be changed when "respeccing" in player tab). When you equip a musket(any Tier V musket) and have the before mentioned attribute split you will see the base damage change upon hovering over the musket in your equipped slot. I believe with this stat spec base damage is multiplied to 1716 per shot.

@@importedlos Some weapons have double scaling so they can deal more damage. Meaning left over stats can be put in a secondary spec, Int in this case. Increasing the damage. Other examples of weapons that scale off two stats are Blunderbuss, Hatchet, Sword, Greatsword, Void Gaunlet & Rapier.

Single greatest example of why mortal empowerment needs nerfs. You do not have to be particularly good to kill anyone after you've already farmed 10 or more bots. Don't get me wrong, you have some nice shots in here for sure too and I'm sure these guys are not geared properly, but there's just absolutely no way any other weapon is getting this sort of value out of just two or three perks, even against unprepared players.

Yeah not to take away from your gameplay. I aswell can not stand the Musket players. Its so over powered with being able to 2-3 shot players from a mile away. I have max GS and good gear with gems and there is so many players abusing the musket. Now there is atleast 6 of them on the other team and they just love to hit player coming from spawn. If they dont fix the musket soon i will absolutely *salvage* all my pvp gear (alot of money) and never play PVP again or this game. Its outstanding that is has gone on this long, Pretty soon OPR will die out because of musket players or everyone will just have it.....
