That ghonchu remark is painfully funny and true at the same time. Whatever little interactions i had with district level government officials are flashing back in my memory. Forest officers who knew nothing about forest, civil administrators who had no idea of civic/community problems. Etc etc. Har shaakh par ullu baithe hain, anjame gulista kya hoga.

Okay Is it just me who finds part of this problematic? The reason I'm here because one must probably always keep their senses open to the right-wing too. But here's the problem most of the arguments here are largely assertive. 1. They're also based on extremely narrow subsets of data which might not show the whole picture. a) Urbanization or the lack of thereof can't be characterized through 2 small spaces and pockets in Delhi, similarly, the large assertion of hey listen individuals who come to bureaucratic power must come from inherited privilege is also based on a small subset of data. But here's the problem with this argument, for the longest time we/ve been supremely comfortable with our circles based on familial and or educational ties. I'm not denying the fact that hey, there aren't problematic individuals but a generalization based on lack of historical privilege is the basis of massive discrimination and biases? I don't mean this as an attack, I just felt the person as brilliant as they would have been just ending up having assertive argumentation with not much analysis and illustration to it.
@JAK1319983 жыл бұрын
@Varad Fair enough, even though I disagree with your theory of the existence of a right wing. As I strongly believe that there is a lack of an economic right wing for sure. However, the difference in our opinions stems from the differences in our lived experiences and that's alright. I have in the past engaged with J Sai Deepak's thought process too. I generally disagree with them. But I'd love to engage and understand your thoughts process on the same. Thank you for reaching out.
@JAK1319983 жыл бұрын
@Varad dear friend, I agree they're economically not right. On a comparitive I disagree on their ideas of being socially communist. I think the attachment to identity based on borth being such a dominant part of their narrative takes away from their ability, so sure you'd have a few decisions and PR calls here and there which call for equality and care, yet the undercurrent remains the same. I understand the idea where you come from and I largely agree with you on the economic front. But good discussion regardless.
