Great podcast. India has very less intellectuals from Right wing. It's good to have a perspective from people from diverse view point. His understanding on geopolitics is admirable. Problem is russia will eventually in this century become an extension of china, supplementing their, food energy and resource hunger... Russia avoided china till now because the Europeans are paying a premium to the Russian resources but china will get a bargain now...

1:23:00 Soma was used exactly for the same purpose in early Rig Vedic times when the Vedic Civilization had just started developing. Soma has been identified with a mushroom found in the valleys of Ghandhar. There are many verses in the Rig Veda where Indra drinks Soma before going to war.

Hence, the Rama of Bhrigu lineage is also called Parasurama. OIT scholar Shrikant Talageri suggests that the Persian fire worship (Yajna) and Soma found in Gandhar valley was brought into Sapta-Sindhu by the Bhrigus.

I wrote a kinda salty letter to Rob Brown's office in '20 when they decided to 'un-name' Rhett, because of the obscure Gone With the Wind reference. As time passed, emotional things about army, religion, nation popped up & modi made a narrative About him & his party's ideology being the only people who care for all 3, many people like my friend fell to the emotional traps of modi ..
