In this heartfelt episode, I open up about my journey from living in sexual immorality to embracing God’s call for purity. Before knowing Jesus, I was deeply influenced by cultural norms, peer pressure, and the distorted views of sex portrayed in media and relationships. But after surrendering my life to Christ, I came to understand the beauty and purpose of sexual purity as laid out in Scripture.
Together, we’ll explore:
✨ What sexual purity means and why it’s important for Christians
✨ The spiritual and emotional consequences of sexual immorality
✨ How the Bible calls us to flee from sin and honor God with our bodies
✨ My personal struggles and how I’ve committed to pursuing purity in Christ
This episode isn’t just about my story-it’s about God’s grace and the transformative power of His Word. Whether you’re wrestling with your own choices or seeking to better understand God’s design for sexuality, this conversation is for you.
Tune in to hear how fixing our eyes on Jesus can help us walk in righteousness, glorify God with our lives, and experience His incredible love and redemption.
Let’s pursue the freedom and joy that come from walking in His truth!

I’m glad you are talking about this. I agree with you. Before I came back to the Lord around maybe 2017 I led an extremely hedonistic lifestyle. Once I came back to Jesus I stopped. I have so much regret over the way I treated my body as well. The Holy Spirit also convicted me on reading spicy novels. I used to hugely involved in the spicy book community. Going to book cons and meeting authors, etc. I also stopped interacting with that community. By the time I left, the dark spicy trope was becoming popular. So I am glad I left when I did. Not enough Christian women talk about this aspect, because spicy books are a form of porn.

Hi! Thank you for your comment. I completely agree with you! I luckily never got into those books. I didn’t even read Fifty Shades of Grey when it was all the rage! I’m glad you have gotten out of that scene and that you have been saved. Praise the Lord! Thank you for bringing this up.

This is good stuff, I lead a Men's group in my church and this topic is planned to be the next one to be discussed. The devil has enslaved so many people into sexual immorality even people in the church. This is truly among the most difficult battles to engage in. Our flesh is so perversed. Keep on fighting the good fight

@@timypaul Thank you so much! May God Bless your efforts with the men’s group. I completely agree it is one of the most difficult battles. The enemy has done a great job at normalizing sexual immorality in so many ways.

That should be I John 3:9-10. Thank you for sharing. I think we have a major problem with all sorts of fornication in our culture. We have turned our backs on God and must repent. Pray for God's people in our country and throughout the world. Blessings to you!

Romans 12:1-2. It doesn't get anymore clear than that, particularly when you add to that the Lord's commands as well as the accounts for who WILL not be in heaven.

I lived as a young man exactly as you suggest. I was a virgin when I got married. It was absolutely the worst decision I ever made. The fruit of that path was death. I literally almost died as a direct consequence of those choices. What you are promoting is not what you think it is.

@@FindingFulfillmentTogether It's a long story. But the short version is this. Sexual compatibility is a very real thing. A marriage without it creates a toxic dynamic between a very sexual man and a woman who marries only for financial security. She eventually cheated and gave me an STD. That circumstance snowballed into a storm of storms and I almost died. She divorced me, took hundreds of thousands of dollars and my children. They no longer talk to me. I'd pay ten times the dollar figure she took if I could only have my children back. Christian... yes and no. I believe that Jesus Christ was who he said he was. But from there, who I am and what I believe departs dramatically from what the church teaches. They are nothing but a kingdom of power/money hungry bastards who do not know who or what God is. There is no love in them. Following them and the Bible is an activity for fools. I tried for decades. That path is death.

@@Fatelvis2 My ex-wife and I were not sexually compatible. A fact I did not learn till my wedding night. A marriage without sexual compatibility quickly becomes toxic. That toxicity compounded over the years, till my ex-wife finally cheated on me and gave me an STD. That turned into a catastrophic illness and I nearly didn't survive. Then she divorced me and took my children. All because I lived by what the Bible had to say about sex, marriage and divorce.

When JC said to not commit adultery with your eye I think he was on to something. You let the spirit of lust inside you when you do that and it never leads to anything good, particularly in becoming the person that the person you want would also want. In modern terms he was telling men not to simp.

@ I think maybe you should delve bit deeper into anger and love. It’s is possible to be angry and someone and pretend to love them to enable them to continue their self destruction. Likewise it’s possible to love someone enough to punish them so that they don’t become something terrible, as good parents do when they punish their children.
