Yep and the space Jockey exists whether the Author likes it or not. God, that irritated me that they tried to retcon the Jockey into Engineers in the Out of the Shadows book. Ash coming back was so stupid. Prometheus never happened, unless we (AND I ADVOCATE THIS, BIG TIME) make Project: ACHERON'S Alien Awakening animation Canon. And his story is Canon to me.

The second movie shows that no one had heard about the aliens, but the prequels and the first movie, where the science officer was replaced and a bio-weapons division was put in place, imply otherwise. Meanwhile, it was explained after the second movie came out that the company did not find the derelict craft after losing the Nostromo because the beacon was damaged by volcanic activity, but the game shows that the beacon was turned off by others who found the craft.

Ah. Always a good day when Project: Acheron uploads. How's it going? Personal take, I don't like Out of The Shadows trilogy because it retcons the Jockey and Ash comes back from the dead to torment Ripley I tend to ignore anything that naysays the Space Jockey or anything that attempts to rewrite events in the First Movie; Alien. As for Romulus, it's a different story as I dont mind Big Chap coming back because its plausible, but Ash was destroyed very thoroughly.

Wait… How did Ash upload his consciousness when he/it heard the self destruction warnings go off, when that was when Ripley was the sole survivor, and Ash was destroyed before Lambert and Parker met their demise? Alien Romulus proved that Weyland-Yutani knew about the xenomorph being blown out the airlock. Ash was able to communicate what happened to the Nostromo and the narcissus. Weyland-Yutani received the information and looked for the perfect organism cocoon.
