57 years without vivien leigh 🎀🕊

on July 7th vivien leigh passed away from a recurrence of her tuberculosis she caught in the 1940s. Her death was late at night so it was reported on July 8th. That is why people say those dates. i think she is so wonderful as an actress and a person. After her death Noel Coward wrote to Laurence olivier in a letter saying that: "She always reminded me of a bird of paradise. Perhaps now she can find her own."
I wrote a poem for her 🎀
"She was a lass unparalleled
Her strong hands can no longer be held
From blanche dubois to lady macbeth
She was a blessing to the world even in death
Graceful as a fairy-kitten until her last breath
Why does the sun go on shining, and the seas rush to shore
Dont they know its forevermore?
How can their heart not feel tore?
How can their love not feel sore?
Don't they know, its the end of the world?
Even if it has happened to thousands after & before?
Even if she was a stranger and i shouldn't be so torn.
She lived so much in so little time, so so much in despite
of the illnesses that had plagued her life
Her fragile face in the light,
She was always going, with all her might."
