God bless that punch. I see so many people building them with way too much extra metal. D: Finally one that's clean!

This robot is awesome. You guys did a great job. This is our first year in Vex and we are still have a lot to learn. We had our first competition last week. We made it in finals but didn't not win anything. It was a great experience. We are trying to figure out how to get the robot to go up the platforms. Do you guys have any suggestions . Thank you!
@kirbyfu26155 жыл бұрын
You should have exposed wheels at the front of your bot. It can just be your drive wheels, especially if they're 4 inch, or they can be free spinning wheels mounted off the ground like 240p did with Medium Quality kzbin.info/www/bejne/jKWleouFnJV4qas

Yo. Thanks for the reveal. Everything is so clean. The video's shots are on point, and that's an amazing execution of a creative idea on the robot side. Good shit guys. Gl at competition.

What size rubber bands do you use on your main intake, ours is about the same size and we haven't' found the right ones yet? Plus your robot rocks, have a wonderful holiday.

We have almost the same exact robot, except our punch is mounted perpendicular to the drive wheels, which allows for a pretty cool mechanic of just driving in a line while being able to rotate the shooter to hit both flags. We are thinking about implementing an H-Drive: i.ytimg.com/vi/ozVOsZQHKQk/hqdefault.jpg to allow us to have even more mobility for quick shooting

Do you guys have the problem where you use your roller intake to flip caps on the ground, but it flips back to the opponents color?
@574crobotics46 жыл бұрын
Occasionally, but with a lot of driver practice it isn't a common occurence.
@ryden.o6 жыл бұрын
Also, how does your puncher not get pulled back because of the rubber tension?
@574crobotics46 жыл бұрын
We have a ratchet system that holds the slide in place when we pull it back.

Why is there a ratchet gear next to the slip gear on the puncher?
@josephkelsheimer86105 жыл бұрын
Adhitya Ravikumar It allows the bot to ratchet back right before the puncher shoot and holds it. It speeds up our shot time
@katzedas52736 жыл бұрын
Do you not think that the disk placement is going to be worthwhile? I didn’t actually know you could remove them
@carlosm77016 жыл бұрын
If it takes you too much effort/time to place caps on the poles then its not really worth it because bots like this that focus on balls can just knock them off very easily. Thats why we(7701X) have been focusing on shooting balls and have built an active intake for our caps. This way we dont waste time trying to just pick up a single cap that can be easily de-scored. Balls are definitely meta rn.
