I love the reflection of the creek on your glasses! And I love this place. Those hot springs books have lead me to so many beautiful places I would have never seen before. I put notes, flowers and things in mine and have been using them since the 80's. One of my most prized possessions.

@markpashia70673 жыл бұрын
Since springs are either hot from geothermal features or icy cold as a well diggers bottom, one that is that temp really is a warm spring. Somewhere in the middle. Springs here in Missouri are usually the same as cave temps in the mid fifties for the water temp in the spring pool and run until they mix with a warmer river or stream. Seventies sounds like heaven to me and would love to skinny dip there as well. Nice footage of the cave explore. Thanks for bringing us along. Raised my temp.

Keep in mind that the infrared thermometers read temps in a cone that gets larger at distances. In short, you will get a more accurate reading to hold the device close to the heat source. The distance you used, you read the ground temps as well as the water.

Been there many times. Definitely not hot nor really warm. We jokingly call it the Luke Warm Springs. There's not really a room at the back of the cave, more like a bigger spot where maybe 3-4 people could snuggly fit but the roof is still inches from your head. Can be very claustrophobic

Not all Mormons are anti-nudity. If your okay with it, so am I. I used to skinny dipping with my daughter when I lived in Washington state up at Tears of the Dragon west of Port Angeles. It was a bit of a drive to get there, then we had to hike about 2 miles to get there. It was worth it! Packed a lunch and a few sodas. We had fun. There are individual pools there that vary from Hot to warm. Beautiful area up there. There are hot springs here where I live but its about a 2 hour drive. I love Utah btw, as I lived in the east desert south of Price, UT., for about 30 years. We had a small ranch, and I do miss it. Love watching your videos as you wander the west. Makes me a bit "homesick" for the desert.
