Fun fact #1: Shadow's IQ was revealed to be 200 making him smarter than Sonic Fun fact #2: The ages in Sonic the Hedgehog were removed for various reasons. One of them being that Sega didn't want fans to worry about the ages of the characters.

Evidence: Eggman is an evil Genius with plans galore, but there’s no way he has the staff and robots to make every plan happen in rapid succession.

Another fun fact: In the mainline games Sonic has never been confirmed scared of water. It's in several cartoons and comics, but mainline Sonic has never done anything to show that he's scared, he just can't swim until Colors (which is what I think the floaties was actually referencing). Weirdly enough, I think Sonic has since lost his ability to swim, but I'm not too certain of that.....

Fun fact: Mario and Sonic actually exist in the same universe. Think about it. They encounter each other in the Smash Bros world and they compete together in the Olympics. Plus Sonic's shoes are near a trash can in the video game heros section in the game Donkey Kong Courtney 2.
