I live / work in Haiphong, Vietnam where the eye of Yagi passed right over us. The devastation here and around the country is unreal.......surviving this first hand was one hell of a wild ride!!! It's heart breaking what people are dealing with if you keep poking around about Yagi's aftermath.....This truly was a historical event that I'll never forget personally going through as well as witnessing the dreams people made come true sadly become erased from existence...... :(

You are absolutely wrong. Houses in areas where there are frequent storms in Vietnam, such as the Central and Northern regions, are very sturdy. 95% of the houses are made of concrete and they add a corrugated iron roof on top just to reduce the heat in the summer, because the summer there is very hot. Houses in Vietnam are more sturdy than those in the United States, which are mostly assembled from wood.
