Life long Kansas Citian and Chiefs fan here. Josh Allen is the only QB in the league who scares me when he has the ball. Buffalo is lucky to have him. He is easily the second best QB in the league, and I mean that with no disrespect. The man is simply dangerous and if he’s got the ball last, he’s going to make you pay. MVP selection is simple. Look at each win and loss and see why it happened. If that's the only real factor then watch the 10 missed field goals for the Ravens during their losses. Watch the defense, special teams and running earn a 30-20 win during this full game vs Indy. Allen is your MVP QB but he threw the ball to the other team and never threw a TD. You don't have 9 probowlers without an MVP throwing the rock and affecting the game on both sides of the ball. It's even crazier when a "running back" has one of the best seasons on record in throwing and passing. It's laughable we still have ppl talking about the win loss record but don't mention how Tucker missed 10 field goals causing several losses. It's mind blowing to see over half of the interceptions were not Lamar's fault since the ball was in the hands of the intended player. We can't say that for Josh. Man I remember that 2018 Miami game like it was yesterday at 3:45 It was the first time we made it to the playoffs since 2001. The only way we'd make it to the playoffs was if we won that game, and the Bengals won against the Ravens. I remember it so vividly because I was working that day as a server in college. We were ALL huddling around the bar watching the game and then they immediately switched the channel to the Bengals game. Even though it was a nice Italian restaurant, the restaurant still got a little rowdy lol I also remember I needed off that next Sunday and my friend said he would take my shift if the Bills didn't make the playoffs which he thought was highly likely. As a fan off a fellow 2018 QB (Lamar Jackson, big Truss) I loved seeing Allen improve his accuracy without sacrificing his mobility. I just wish he got there a little earlier so Brady couldn't keep beating up on the weak AFC east for home playoff games and first round byes. He'd have giving Brady some hell for sure. I view Mahomes and Lamar as separate from the rank and file QB's because of their immediate impact and MVPs/Super Bowls (in mahomes' case) so my list starts at 1 with Josh Allen. If he cuts his turnovers, he's a lock for the HOF.
