Another think that the viewers (probably) missed is that when Luz is standing in the doorway to Camila’s room after her nightmare, I’m the corner of the shot you can see a trash can with a straightening iron in it, which could explain why Camila’s hair is straight at the beginning of the episode but is curly for the rest.

I think it is a given that Luz's Palisman is a snake because just look at the "Egg" It's not an Egg, it's a Snake curled up to look like an Egg, you can see the top of the "egg" with a small horizontal stripe that looks like a closed eye

In the start, hunter’s hair has the curl, making him look more like Caleb. He then cuts his hair and removes the curl to disconnect himself from that. When belos possesses hunter, the curl comes back, showing how he’s been dragged back into this place.

Hunter says he loves wolves and for the entire episode seems to fully be happier in the human realm. i think at the end of season 3 he will be living in the human realm full time and attending Luz's school, who's mascot is the wolf

I had thought about that too, especially as the bracelet was on Camillia's bed side table. Also if she already knew that Luz was bi then Luz wouldn't feel she needed to come out. The bracelet is the style that a girl/woman would wear which probably rules out Manny. The Bi sticker on the guitar case looks like it's been there for years maybe which would, in my mind anyway, suggest it was there for either Camilla or Manny. But sometimes the writers like to throw these things in to see who's paying attention.

I do feel like there are 3 possible outcomes 1. S3-2 will focus on Eda and Luz won't be in the episode at all 2. Luz and friends will go to the in-between and then to the demon realm 3. The Deamon Realm wasn't shown because it was altered and Dana wants to keep it a surprise 4. Vee put back the items she trashed in Yesterday's lie 5. Willo made a duck face in a photo 6. Luz's school is the Wolves same animal Huntter loves my other observations Flapjack is a Male Cardinal since he is red. Female Cardinals are brown. This means if Flapjack turns out to be female that could mean some thing. This observation is pending farther explanation and lore. Luz has a fanny pack. Flapjack hid in it. Her egg could be there. or there could be other ways to carry it. Vee knows how to drive or at least was confident she could. Hope the house keys were available for Vee to get home and that maybe there was a spare car key too? Wonder if Vee will come out as a demon to her friends? a few other things you didn';t say appear on other lists So I'll hold off from pointing them out but I can direct you to those lists if needed.

On the subject of Hunter possibly having magic now, his body is partly made from the same material as a palisman. Also, while a lot of people have been saying Hunter's change in eye color is to make him look more like Caleb, the shade seems a lot closer to Luz's eyes than Caleb's.

The "egg" palisman; someone inherently tied to Luz sporting a Trans icon's look (freeing Luz to wear an Azura costume, as we all, including Luz, would want); the fact that Luz has always felt out of sorts, when told to act ladylike or attempting to fit in with girls; and the facts of how Luz chooses styles that are either non-binary or masculine-coded, moving further into the masculine-coded attire over time, while never choosing anything purely feminine... Even the Azura costume is modified from a dress into a jacket and pants. It feels... Deliberate.

Something I noticed that not many people talk about is that post-possession, Hunter speaks much softer than he used to, even when he's trying to motivate Luz to fight back. This could be because Belos talking through him may have messed around with his vocal chords as there *is* scarring on his neck. Also something kinda sad is that his new scars may make it hard for him to fully smile from here on out.

Another hint at Luz's palisman being a snake is that Snakes are often portrayed in fiction as liars. Regardless of whether you think she's justified or not, Luz lies a lot to a lot of people throughout the show.

12:45 We also need to remember, witches used to not have bile sacs as eda mentioned when showing Luz a light spell. They did magic differently back then. My theory, it started with glyphs, then moved to palisman after some bored carpenter witch took up a hobby of carving wood, a carving coming to LIFE soon after. Once one of the palisman died through either natural means over years of use, or accidental cracking. The palisman would expel it's soul. If it had a good relationship with it's witch, they would imbue the witch with their life-force allowing them to cast magic. Giving them a bile sac as a side effect, that future descendants would inherit. If it had a bad relationship, it would leave when not observed and become part of the isle.

I have a theory that the reason Hunter is so scarred by being possessed by Belos is because Belos…was eating Hunters flesh… because it is made of palistrum wood. Also it’s likely this wasn’t the first time Hunter was possessed just by the similarities in color and shape of his old and now new scars.

But now I've seen these characters grow and get close...Flapjack dying hurts so much worse now. Something I noticed: In the scene where Luz and Hunter are walking up the stairs and we get a look at their shadows, while everyone mostly saw the horns on Hunter's shadow, not as many people noticed Luz's shadow and how there appears to be something through it. I think it was a knife to represent backstabbing or even how Belos killed Caleb, with Hunter's shadow being Belos/Philip and Luz's shadow being Caleb.

You missed another animation error that I'm apparently the only one who noticed because no one is talking about it In the scene of little Luz with the snake there is an animation error in Camila's earrings it was black then for one frame it was yellow and then it changed to black again It's easy to miss so you should check it out☺

Guess what the scene with hunter waking up after flapjack’s sacrifice was the first time we see him cry from sadness. Earlier on in the episode, he cries when he realises he is seen as part of the noceda family and has ppl who care abt him but that was joy not sadness… he didn’t cry in hollow mind or labyrinth runners, but he cried when flapjack died and it makes me sad.

Huh, I wonder if hunter will gain a second form. We see in a painting that Belos gained one even when his brother was alive. So it didn't take a lot of souls to transform. It could act like a mix of goop Belos and Harpy Eda.

Another thing I noticed in this episode is the the portal that they first tried to make you can see the portal flash to the in between, but just as it appeared it then burst into flames. But this shows that they could probably use palsiman (if you had enough of them) to power a portal between realms. It’s kinda useless information, but it’s still cool.

He's likely seen a lot about the Grimwalker stuff OR has at least seen Caleb in Belos' mind enough to know how kid Caleb looks exactly like Hunter. Also, the fact that the Derby team originally knew him as "Caleb". Any way you go about it, whatever he saw in Belos' memories was ABSOLUTELY enough to let him know that some sort of clone shit is going on! And he's being SO fuckin nice about it. 1. I'm pretty certain Gus knows that Hunter is a Grimwalker. Not only does he tell Hunter about one of the characters in the book being a clone, but he later tells Hunter he's pretty sure another character from the book (I can't remember their name) already knows that the guy is a clone. I think Gus was hinting that he knows Hunter is a Grimwalker, and is cool with it. 2. Maybe there's a bi flag on the fridge in 'Yesterday's Lie' because Camila put it up in support of Vee. I don't know if Vee's sexuality has been confirmed, but she could be bi.

I have a theory: When Belos killed Flapjack he said "Goodbye, Evelyn" So I THINK that maybe Flapjack was connected to Evelyn somehow and thats why Flapjack liked Hunter so much since Cayleb and Evelyn were in love. ALSO Flapjack is a bird palisman and who's entire family has bird palismans? THE CLAWTHORNS meaning that most likely Eveyln was a Clawthorn and maybe Eda knows?
