I normally use Counter Culture DIY Artist Resin for my resin projects.
I was asked to try this resin and give it a review. It did well and was easy to work with. The company told me it is heat resistant to 200 degrees.

Hi Sandra! I got the window film to try this but I have a question. Now that you’ve created a bowl by placing the resin inside another bowl AND laying it on a mold, which way do you prefer? TIA! ❤️

I actually don't have a preference... If I have used crystals around the border (usually I have) I will always want to showcase them more, so whichever way the works best for the crystal side up. So you can push it inside a bowl to form or lay it over a form and drape it down...

Love the holographic effect and have wanted to do something similar.. but haven't yet. Did the resin finally totally harden up? If so, how long did it take?

No.. I pour the resin on the textured side of the film. So if you use clear resin, the prismatic effect shows thru. Its made from the impressions of the textured film

How did the iridescent color stay and transfer after the second use of the window film ?

The window film has a very fine imprint... so you can a new transfer of the imprint every time you use it...

Would you still get the effects from the window film if you did colored resin?

No... I tried it with mica powder... You get it on the bottom side that is poured over the film... but unless it is VERY VERY transparent, the color hides the holographic effect from showing through on the top side... that is where the illusion comes from on the top.
