I feel like the drop made it even better because of how he responded to it in the freestyle. Total class.

Even being able to emotionally handle the shock of dropping a nice throw and keeping on reacting and playing while it's still spinning is hard AF. I've done it a couple times with my beaters, but on stage under pressure - that's really phenomenal.

Takuma's school came to my school for a student exchange and Takuma performed his yo-yo tricks on stage for a performance. All the girl's in my school instantly fell in love with him. hahaha

I tried to click score this at home and now I have arthritis.

This is fully depends on the judge and the rule but not the audience. Did you remember 2011 Japan National? Takeshi cried after he gets 2nd in the 5a division because he did not realise that the marking criteria has changed.

u know what... looking at it again, i agree he indeed DID handle it quite nicely. unfortunately the judges still gave him 2nd. i can't wait to get my yo yo techniques down so i can try to take part in these competitions :D

I'll admit that Takuma seems to be the only real competition for Takeshi, but I think that Takeshi definitely deserved 1st.

again...these guys were within .50 points of each other. it was ANYONES game at that point. takuma will win it again one day.

Btw how much does a drop hurt? Because that's the only thing I see that could've dropped him to second everything else > Takeshi

I like Takuma, he isn't cocky and arrogant like Takeshi. Look at most of Takeshi's performances, freaking arrogant compared to Takuma.

True, but if Takuma hadn't made that drop, he could've won lol.

i think Takuma coulda have won had it not been for the drop...

I like his tricks better then those that Takeshi showed, but Takuma doesn't have a style that Takeshi has, not even half of it - sadly! I would work on style, on choreography (in a broad sense) - tricks are amazing already! Of course performing it flawless would also help, but they way he managed to save that drop was amazing on it's own! Can't wait for next years compo :)
@nianbozhang508012 жыл бұрын
yeah well takuma isn't entirely flawless coz look at 0:46 takuma made a big mistake while takeshi was flawless
