I am not sure I would trade that for her life, but only now do I know what relaxation is... I was always pursuing the next goal and great view when not at work.

@@RikkeGade Hi there! Thank you for your kind words. I’m based out of East Tennessee. Self diagnosed generalized anxiety. I believe it’s related to burnout. I work 2 jobs and during busy season I find myself with no time to rest, or pursue my interests. It leaves me feeling depleted and a little discouraged about where I’m at. Most of the time I’m a positive, artistic person who enjoys socializing. Lately I’ve just had a hard time balancing it all.

It occurs to me, Isabel, that as we wonder what exactly our purposes are upon this earth that there you, and we, are constantly asking questions of ourselves as a means of acquiring the very knowledge and wisdom that is our purpose. You are exemplifying exactly what our purpose is by asking questions as to what our purpose is. The purpose is to search and find so as to expand the length, width, breadth and depth of wisdom. I'm 60 and still working. I recommend setting up life to not have to work at 60, but to be retired. Life has to much to enjoy to be going to work. So life goals do include finances and future planning. Your a young, healthy person, plan on living and being here. We can say that we don't know what the future holds, Or we can say...I'm going to be here and enjoy every second of life!! There is something about intention and declaration that is powerful. I'm not just a leaf floating where the stream goes with no control over it. I agree that we should also enjoy life and let go, people should not slave all their life and plan their dreams for when they retire...No way. Have it all!!

Wise words, as usual, Isabel. Not only is life about the moments, you'll find as you get older the saying about "live every day as though it's your last because one day it will be", becomes very true. When you're a lot older you sense your own mortality more than you ever have. Many years ago in one of the best relationships I ever had at the end of every day we would tell each other what our "special moments" were. More often than not they were the same. When you get up at 4:30 in the morning I hope Logan considers that a special moments as well. 🤣
