Isabel, I learned in college that sitting by the ocean helped to calm me. There was something about the immense power of the ocean that helps someone to put things into perspective. You said in your video that time is the most precious thing we have. As you get older, into your 50s and 60s, for example, you may change your perspective on that. As someone that has chronic pain and experiences difficulty, getting out in nature, I feel that health is the most precious thing we have. Thanks for another beautiful video.❤️

@@sally9852 Deep down I knew. Too young, wouldn't listen, determined. Our church nor our families believed in divorce so that was out. My health deteriorated. Verbal and emotional abuse are serious. I have a strong faith and have healed a lot but he has not changed. Take your time, really consider what is important to you and at least marry equally in those areas. blessings.

Hello Isabel I know it's been a while,... I saw the title " Feeling Lost in Your twenties" and thought I'd take a look. One of the first things I saw in this video was ... ?your parents? Which stopped me in my tracks.!!! I don't know if Dave is going to be a free person for much longer, given he continues on his "current path". And Sue or whatever, is deception deceptive! .. Loose them...this is why... Once they have been out of your life for some time you will start to remember who you are. I'm sure, it will, take time and trial. The person you wanted to be, before being born while still in heaven, was squandered when born. ( just like us all ) You might already know that??? Don't tell them that they owe you anything. If you heard stories about myself and all I did or didn't do to ruin my own life, along with bad feelings inside, then they are lies. I'm not sure if parent's know what their doing or not. Seems to me, parents being deceptive in a way as to keep our true identity from us isn't exactly being true, loving or concerned with anyone else. Be good The Bible: "Satan is the father of lies" Scrubs changed words when translating the original Bible text.

You seem lovely and your videos certainly show talent for editing and camera work. One suggestion about finding meaning and purpose in life, it's been pretty well established that finding a mission and working on it with others is usually helpful. What mission? Well, that depends on your interests and inclinations, but i'd suggest something that benefits a community or ecosystem. Documenting your own life is a kind of modern day navel gazing that isn't really going to be fulfilling. Your dose of tough love from a person older than your parents.

Time isn't wasted, it's spent in the present learning what to do and what not to do for the future. The time we believe we waste always holds some lesson in it that adds to the arsenal along the journey to becoming who we're becoming. There's no need to hurry because the journey is the destination. Enjoy it all and be thankful for the bumps and bruises that lead to wisdom. Life isn't complicated, thought is. Life is simply life. Perspective is what determines attitudes and outcomes. 😊😊

Trust me, as someone who is 36 and spent most of her twenties in psychiatric hospitals, you are not wasting time. A) you are living life a way more in tune with you, not what society says which is a gift, b) every experience we have is not time wasted but time learning and growing and shaping who we are. I wouldn’t wish my life and it’s traumas on my worst enemy, and I get very upset that I’m fast approaching 40 and still not married with kids, owning a house etc… but actually, I wouldn’t change it because it’s made me who I am, a better, more empathetic person than I would have been and I’m grateful for the little things in life

I can so much share the vibes and good feelings of such a journey. Since I'm european, I am lucky to have holydays, and so I crossed a border and targeted a camping site in southern France, which is the nicest area to spend hot and sunny summer days at a sandy beach with good Food, and lots of time to relax and enjoy life in Paradise for at least 2 weeks a otherwise rather cold and wet year, whilst others at home are trapped in rain.
