Since these 2.5 years, I don't think that anyone has made a better overview of 5G, neither in video, audio, nor written form. If anyone knows of another overview as good or better than Sunny's here, please do share, I'd really love to see it, it would be quite the accomplishment. Sunny, you know I am a HUGE fan of yours and you have either taught me or refreshed my memory on lots of technology. However, I do want to mention that I think terrestrial based (meaning towers not sky) has a lot of limitations the moment you get outside of cities. With the exception of the small LTE band within 5G, the bulk of 5G uses incredibly high frequencies in the (ballpark) 23 to 49 GHz range. This range is so high that the distance is very, very short and the impact of weather is also huge. Rain fade starts at 11 GHz, half of the 5G frequency range. I do think Elon Musk's Starlink provides hope as it is in the 10.7 to 12.7 gigahertz range with almost 100% LOS. It will take 5G technology a LOT of towers to fill in the holes. I say all of this as I sincerely think all of the "5G will cure all of your problems" commercials are a bit optimistic. That's all.

Combination of high band 5G and Low band 5g is better approach to cover larger areas however low band 5g will have less bandwidth compared to high band or mmwave 5g

@@AwatnabNahsin Yes, I am only trying to make the point that unlike cell towers, 5G towers need to be no more than a mile apart (with wide open Line Of Sight (LOS) like Arizona or New Mexico. And the higher frequencies also suffer from "rain fade" meaning the microwaves are so small they cannot penetrate a raindrop and continue to go in a straight line. Think about a prism. Satellite TV that uses KaBand, 27 GHz to 40 GHz but it is one way from space to your dish. Other than commands, no uploads. 5G is AWESOME for cities. I worked in New York City for 20 years, you see towers on every block. You can't do that in the burbs. Too expensive. But Sunny? Don't mind my rant. You are an incredible teacher!
