I am honestly, deeply astonished by these mods. I am in my 40s and I stopped gaming years ago, but for the first time in years and years, I am floored, and this has made me want to be a gamer again and build my own gaming rig. Thank you for relighting that fire. Now, if only someone could create a mod that humanised the character animations, so they don't look like ridiculous robots, I will pull the trigger and build a PC.

Very useful video! Thanks. However, in my opinion, the best results are achieved by combining NOVA LUTS + GITS ENV. NOVA has great LUTs but ENV is still in development (only a sunny day looks great). However, ENV from GITS is very well refined and cloudy/rainy days look very good.

I can not thank you enough for this. I spent so much time trying out different LUTs in different weather even in different HDR settings. I should have seen your video earlier. Now I know clearly which one suits me the best. The GITS ones work the best in cloudy weather while nova ones work really well in all environments.

if ur display is calibrated fuji and kuria is cinematic with just the right amount of fuzziness/washout look that often comes with flat contrast.

I may not understand anything about graphics mods, but honestly the vanilla version of the game remains my favorite. The dirty and polluted atmospheres of the Vanilla version remind me too much of those of Blade Runner and Ghost in the Shell. The Vanilla version for me is the most immersive and beautiful of all.

Combine GITS 3.0 Lagacy LUT+GITS 3.0 Legacy Env+ Nova LUT pure version + NovaLut normal not the pure Env + Nova HDR it took me hours to test all combinations but this combo looks in every possible scenario, daytime, weather and location !!!! just amazing and im so glad that i finally can play the whole game not thinking of better graphic mods in different locations anymore your free to test and make a video 😊

no, this will not work ;) ... u might have all this in ur Archive folder...but the game can only use one lut at a time :) ..if u find out wich one the game is not using, u can delete it, and it will look the same ;)

all is subjective, but I decided to use supernova and I couldn't be happier with the result. At least with using RT Overdrive It seems to me to be the best balanced for most environments. Also using NovaLUT Eviroment PT and Edge LUT for depth of field, etc. Its almost like playing a Pixar movie in some places, incredible!

I really enjoyed the feeling of the Showa as well, can't put my finger on it though. I watched without checking comments to make sure I wasn't being influenced, so my pure, instant reaction was that Showa was my favorite.

Good comparison vid. I liked most of the vanilla ones more the others. I did like a coupe of Nova Lut ones. The rest were terrible with the fog, rain and cloud effects, etc.

Used to run with GITS legacy for a while but recently switched to Nova Lut. Really tempted to give Fuji a real shot now, looks so cozy! Maybe I will try combining it's ENV with Nova as many suggest, I'm just ocncerned about how friendly it's settings are to a non RT/PT setup.

give fuji a try, highly recommend just for its beautiful clouds and sunrises, that beautiful red sun rising up is artistically beautiful and gits legacy is something i wore out completely during its 1.63 era and before, atm i’m experimenting with gits fuji and various different luts, i’m kinda sick of seeing a washed out blue sky with no real color to it, i’ve used nclm lut which over saturates, N.G, Bladerunner lut, what i’m really trying to find is the perfect night sky clouds and day sky. it’s a journey atm

Honestly, Vanilla looks fine, obviously the base game is still very impressive but the color pallet is not very realistic, there is too much orange overall, of course they maybe went with specific vision in mind which is okay but that just doesn't look very realistic or natural. I would say that NOVA LUT probably is the closest looking to "real life", its colors are just very natural and I personally really like GITS SHOWA, it's more gritty and I like the darker look. By the way what FPS were you getting on these settings with 4090 and do these mods lower FPS and by how much approximately?

well done thank you. However you missed the LIUT i personally find most accurate to Night City's geographic location. Natural Cali Lighting[NCLM]. NCLM LUT with GITS ENV is mmm so good. looks great all time of day/ weathers too. Deep Blue tho wow its magic. I've showcased it on my channel.

There is just something about nova PURE lut. I'm playing with path tracing and even though it transforms the game there was just always something off about the look of it... Then I found out about nova pure lut... and for shites and giggles went with it and boom. Everything just clicked. Then I realized the reason for such muddy and simplistic looking visuals is the vanilla lut. The colors are all so exposed. Vibrantly exposed. Not the neon lights but the actual material colors. The wood the metal the concrete... When I switched to nova PURE... It just instantly transformed it all. Materials started looking like actual materials not just some plastic looking thing. Concrete looking gray and rough... Wooden furniture looking proper brown... Metal with varying looks from dirty to shiny... Everything just got properly grounded and set in. Now I wish I could kind of pair nova PURE lut with GITS legacy ENV (since i realize fuji has different env to legacy and don't want fuji), To get that decent looking rain, illumination fixes etc...

you can use PURE LUT with GITS ENV, just rename the pure lut file and add ### in the beginning to load it last, since cyberpunk loads them bottom>up

Try to mess with HDR settings if you have a HDR monitor . Made my game look better on a 1080p monitor

@@carlosm3616 I have an HDR Monitor, but it's not an OLED, only LED ROG Monitor and turning the HDR didn't make any differences to the SDR man 🤣🤣 It only add brightness, everything washed out. I think HDR only good on OLED Monitor. Anyway, thank you for your suggestion my friend

Showa look nice. The fog ist not to strong. Rain look perfect, effect Rain Fall in floor look realistic. And in Heven you can see clouds. In secound one heven is alweys white. Showa look good in night too for me

Nope, you're not. While I do think some of the others are neat, there's nothing at all wrong with the vanilla. I think it's the best balance of everything... Good saturation, good contrast, and not strongly color graded (like most of these have too much blue for my liking). I would just use vanilla and be perfectly happy with that.

I really like the color grading of vanilla personally. I think it fits with the setting and theme. Sometimes I look at these mods and feel like it ends up being the same aesthetic as modded GTA just in more futuristic setting, but I guess that’s the point when going for realism.
