5000, nice! (as I'm writing this comment it is even more) This video is a very good idea for me as I like to listen to people talking in varied languages, any language. And also, some questions are very interesting. More generally you are one of my favorite polyglots or persons learning languages, you seem to be very friendly and your videos are always interesting. To answer one question about Romanian, what I personally find most difficult is to understand everyday people speaking.

For Georgian, I can recommend 'Lehrbuch der georgischen Sprache' by Lia Abuladze. It is in German (no problem for you) and is accompanied by a CD, which unfortunately does not cover all lessons. The Georgian script is used since lesson 1, with no Latin transcription, which encourages the learner to learn the script as soon as possible. The grammar is explained very clearly and you can even understand how the complex verb system functions (if you read the explanation about 10x). The first 20 lessons or so are everyday dialogues, but the rest of them, dealing with Georgian history, are much harder.

Stefano, have watched several of your videos and am amazed at the way you pick up languages especially the Finnish language. I have a challenge for you! There is a dying Finnish "art form" of Kontakieli which is basically Finnish Piglatin. My mother and her siblings, who have all since passed away were able to speak it effortlessly which I could never wrap my head around. Unfortunately, I have never heard another Finn speak it. But my mother had a Hungarian friend who is a Linquistics Professor in British Columbia here in Canada and taught it to her. I would have loved to figure out how to speak it.

Ma non ti preoccupare, in ciascun campo c'è sempre qualcuno più avanti di te, e sono certo di essere ben più indietro rispetto a te in vari altri campi - anziché farci mettere soggezione dobbiamo cercare di prendere queste cose come un'ispirazione a migliorare sempre, e almeno per quanto riguarda le lingue questa è la mia missione :) Buono studio e tienimi aggiornato quando inizierai il giapponese o il finlandese!

Hola! Me suscribí hoy, me encanta tu forma de hablar, sos una inspiración para mí. Neste momento eu só falo três línguas, e faz um tempo atrás que eu senti a necessidade de aprender muitas línguas muito rápido, mas eu estava muito errada, né? I understood that there's not a race I have to win when it comes to learn languages, the whole point is to enjoy the process. Estudié un par de meses alemán pero no sentía esa pasión de la que hablas, de momento lo dejé de lado. Agora sinto muita, muita vontade de aprender coreano, estou me sentindo muito emocionada porque só com o inglês tinha sentido a mesma vontade. I learned English pretty much by myself because of my obsession with American music at that time, then I learned Brazilian Portuguese because I was scared to commit to learn French (I still want to) and I really enjoyed it. @@linguaEpassione Fantastico :) Il fatto è che tu realizzi esattamente quello che vorrei realizzare io in futuro: a partire dall'attenzione alla pronuncia, passando per la conoscenza molto solida di certe lingue (il tuo tedesco è formidabile.. io ho avuto la fortuna di una mamma tedesca che mi ha insegnato a sguazzarci, e la naturalezza con cui lo parli mi impressiona un sacco :D), fino poi alle lingue "poco spendibili" (quello che per te è il finlandese, per me è l'ungherese). E per quanto riguarda queste ultime, in generale è difficile giustificare alla gente una passione del genere, o anche solo trovare qualcuno che la veda come te.. e quindi mi rincuora un sacco vedere un italiano che studia il georgiano, e lo fa pure a modino. Insomma, sono super contento ahah

@@linguaEpassione Tra l'altro, a proposito del georgiano, ho il sospetto che ci sia molto più materiale su base russa che su base inglese, a partire da un canale che ho trovato di recente (Георгий Ефимов). Però se mi ricordo bene il russo non rientra tra i tuoi interessi, e temo che i sottotitoli in altre lingue non ci siano. :/

Hey there, thank you so much for your superkind comment! Loving Finnish is key to learn it, at least in my own experience =)) It took me about 4-5 years (of active study, that is) to get to a fluent level + to understanding pretty much everything I heard. The only rule? Never give up, never stop learning :)

Onnittelut 5k subista! On ollut mielenkiintoista seurata videoitasi. Haluisin kysyä sun mielepidettä siitä, että kuinka tärkeänä pidät sitä, että perehtyy aina tiettyyn kieliopin aiheeseen kunnolla ennen kuin jatkaa eteenpäin? Käytätkö paljon aikaa tietyn osa-alueen haltuun ottamiseen vai opiskeletko perusteet ja menet eteenpäin, ja ikään kuin lisäät pikkuhiljaa yksityiskohtaisemmin tietoa vanhoista asioista samalla kun opiskelet uusia? Itsellä on paha tapa kiirehtiä aina uusiin aiheisiin ja joskus vanhat jäävät hieman heikommiksi. Mitä suosittelet? Pahoittelut, tuli pari pitkää hirviölausetta. :D

Thank you Kevin, you're absolutely right, French spelling is a nightmare and I think it's almost better to ignore the written part at the beginning. Have you ever tried focusin only on the spoken language for a while? Let me know what you think or if you have more questions just ask away =)

Sellanen video idea ois ihan kiva missä esim katsot sanoja mitä tarkoittaa erikielellä aivan jotain muuta. Esim "Katso merta" suomeksi (look at the sea) means like "haista paska" (fuck you) in italian?

Hyvä idea, mutta "katso merta" italiaksi muistuttaa oikeastaan semmosta kuin "f*ck sh*t". On muitakin haskoja sanoja, joilla on täysin eri merkitys, eli siitä voisi tulla aika hauska video, kiitos vinkistä ;)
