Brockenhurst - New Forest 5km (3.60mi) route
This episode takes you to New Forest for a very nice hike around Brockenhusrt. We had a picnic in a very quiet, peaceful and green. This 5km route starts from Balmer Lawn Road towards Lymington river, pass the Mill on the Mill Lane. Crossed the level crossing onto Brookley Road. Then we went off the road and took the footpath on Rhienfield Road headed to Butts Lawn. Continued onto Meerut Road, Lyndhurst Road and back to Balmer Lawn Road.
Tilery Road Car Park is free of charge although, there are plenty other options on the Balmer Lawn Road nearer to the village. There's also one more near the junction where Balmer lawn road meets Mill ln.
Somewhere in the field on the Mill lane is where we encountered a herd of Fallow Dear, so you better look out if you're coming for a walk here.
