5lb. Sausage Stuffer, Replacing it's Stripped Plastic Gears.....IT'S EASY!!!

With a replacement Metal Gear Kit from LEM I repair my 5lb. Sausage Stuffer. The Metal Gear Kit was $25.00 as opposed to purchasing a new Stuffer for $225.00. Only issue was.....My Stuffer was from Gander Mountain and I took a chance that the LEM kit would be compatible.........well it was.... with a little modification to the handle. Had to use a Dremel Tool and grind the inside of the handle just slightly. Besides that........the Gears all line up and work perfectly! \🔥/

Ken my friend, I hate plastic gears, lol, I always bought the Maytag brand kitchen/laundry appliances as they were the last of the big names that used metal gears, whirlpool bought them & switched the newbies to plastic gears, water pumps, etc... won't by either now

Hey D! What... You haven't used it yet? I'm not surprised with all the Toys you have. LOL I was using the collagen casing for snacks, but then I got sheep casings that are smaller diameter and work great for snack sticks. 👍 I've used High Mountain seasonings and LEM....and a few others. Just gotta play around to see what You like. I also got a pack of just the curing salt, and then you can experiment and add whatever seasoning you want. LEM is in Ohio I believe. Look them up they have a Huge website. 👍 Metal On! \🔥/

I just bought the Lem version of your stuffer at a local Buchheit store for $130 on sale. It original price was $180 which is cheaper the Cabela version. Sometimes it pays to shop around.

@@HeavyMetalBarBQue Following a couple people that have the work horse 1975. Nothing new I really like your responnce, it confirms my thoughts on pellet grills, and the mechanical breakdowns. I had my first taste of pellet grilled food, my brother in law acquired a gmg daniel boone, he smoked a turkey with smoke tube,he spatch cocked the turkey but put it on sheet pan,after that I decided no pellet smoker. I like offsets but after all videos and people I watch it seems like they downsize. All roads lead to the kettle. I miss Phil,Greg, the stories cooks on the weber products. That seemed like the golden era of KZbin. Hoping Spring will start here sometime good to see you making content.
