I swear Gerrard is an expert at low key talking down Liverpool and making everything about him. Not a fan of Roy of the rovers players. He was an excellent player, but I think there’s a reason why he never consistently won the top trophies. His raw talent made him seem an essential pick, but I’m not sure if he had the tactical nous, positional sense or personality to be a consistent winner.
