I don’t suggest doing the egg in the microwave without breaking the yoke. The yoke will often blow up and make a mess… I also don’t suggest putting plastic in your microwave as it will likely melt, even if you don’t see it and it is toxic.

Please don’t try the eggs in microwave one. The yolk can explode and in the least now you have a messy microwave but in the most it can severely burn you. DO NOT MICROWAVE EGGS!

RIGHT?!? I'm not the brightest bulb in the box a lot of times, but stoves/towels, oven mitts, etc not mixing should be almost instinctual! It drives me crazy if they're even too close to the stove! Maybe it takes having a fire before it registers? My vigilance came from a kitchen fire when I was 5, no towels even involved-- just a pan with grease or food in it and accidentally turning the burner on (gas stove, 1970, my elbow...). It's a good thing they now have those smaller fire extinguishers available to the public! Safe and happy holidays to you!😊

I think most of these are genius. Ive been a mom of 3 for 32+ years. You can also use fabric in your fruit and veggies, instead of paper towels. I make my own out of those Dollar Store or Costco shammies. I just cut them up and serge or sew around the edges. Work great for everything but grease. They don't wash well for greasy stuff . I buy 1 thing of paper towels a year or 2. Great to wrap around your potatoes and yams for mocrowaving as well. I myself like my pancakes with whipped, syrup and fruit. Slap a little corn starch in your grated cheese to prevent cheese sticking together . Use a plastic bag. Add small amount of starch and shake. It reduces moisture and will keep mold free longer
