The reason you enjoy her films is because she gets the pick of what are deemed the best scripts in the industry whereas other actresses get criticised for their “choices” of films when they’re literally left with what is bottom of the barrel. She was not the first choice for dear zindagi as an example, but another actress was sidelined so that Alia got a film that would be centred around her. Obviously someone who gets author backed roles constantly and the opportunity to showcase their talent is going to fare better than those countless other women who are waiting for a decent opportunity but usually get 2 songs and 5mins of screen time. Alia is one dimensional actor.. yes she can act but only a certain type of emotion she can portray which is "angry -emotional abhi pathegi yeh" types in almost all of her movies this is the way she act.. it's very repetitive.. she doesn't know how to do comedy, romance, grey shades character. one of the main reason is Karan Johar tries so effin hard to throw her in people's faces he snatches those roles which has similarity somehow & give it to Alia.. you see the patterns being repeated & it's exhausting.. there's no versatility in her acting range.. i will never understand the hype around her.

My honest opinion on Alia Bhatt - When I watched soty first time i was amazed to see what bachi is doing in the movie. After watching Highway many people got suprised from her acting but i have watched highway like in 2019 or post pandemic. Movies like humpty sharma , shaandar i didn't like her performance but got suprised from udta Punjab and badrinath ki dhulania ❤❤❤❤. Even dear zindagi also i have watched post pandemic and raazi too. Where before badrinath she really didn't look like actress and heroine like Shraddha Kapoor and Anushka Sharma. After badrinath and many films she got improvement in acting and looks too. She is not born as heroine material but she created herself now. Honestly she says something in reality or comedy which doesn't makes sense but she accepts the trolls and mistakes she made. After all she is bestest actress from nepo kids in current generation. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤️😍💯🥰 After SSR death she got trolls like for kakank and sadak 2 but after gangubai and darlings she has silenced every boycott gang but again boycott gang tried to troll brahmastra especially many people found alia Bhatt as isha a irritating performance from the movie only saying shiva shiva shiva 😂. Alia bhatt gets great scripts her acting is really brilliant but in routine and worst films her acting really get's exposed.
