I know plumber and electrician who earn way beyond 8 Lakh, why does government discriminate people based on their job designation.. I don't have a job, thanks to another policy named Reservation, Why does govt discriminate me and considers me as kin to family, why can't it be based on unemployment status wouldn't that be more pragmatic and helpful? True .. as we belong to general class ...My mother being a teacher who's salary is just 7000 p.m can't have an eligibilty even we don't have any surplus funds to fund any medical expenses in case of emergency..and there they provide Ayushman card to St / sc who have access money . Yes. This is very important. Can any Govt. Dept. or Service Agency help in this regard. If so, please give Mobile No. and name of person to contact. The procedure appears quite confusing. For example it says anyone having a Refrigerator or 2 Wheeler are not eligible. There are also other conditions which make about 80 % citizens ineligible. Will the Govt. make the rules more practical.

The Modi Government's Flagship Ayushman Bharat Yojana provides health insurance coverage of up to 5 lakh to economically weaker households. However, on Wednesday the government clarified that it would cover seniors aged 70 and above, irrespective of their income levels. The Rupees 5 lakhs coverage will be exclusively for them, while the over for those between 60 and 69 years of age will be shared with other family members of the same age or lesser. As India's old age population is estimated to be around 20% of the country's total population by 2050, affordable healthcare for all will e major challenge which is far from adequate. This decision is a significant step towards helping seniors meet their needs. What Ayushman Bharat yojana Scheme offers? The Scheme provides Rs 5 lakh per family per annum for hospitalisation and tertiary care. The Scheme currently covers over 12 crore families. Now there will be an additional 4.5 crores families and six crore seniors.

Seems like lot of bugs in app. Unable to enroll in 70+ scheme. After eKYC verification unable complete process since state code and details cannot be filled. No drop down list for district or town etc… Unable to save work done to continue later… needs lot of software revision/debugging. I am from Tamilnadu
