This helped me quite a bit because nobody has ever really emphasized that the two of the percussive beats in this rhythm pattern are on the "up" stroke. This wasn't really mentioned in this video, but it's easily noticed when watching it and it matches up to the original song. Thanks for posting this!

Drop D! Muted harmonic on the 12th fret...

Great idea. Drop D is normally as far as I venture into alternate tunings. More than that and it starts to feel like a different instrument…
