@@EvergreenOffroad that could definitely come in handy, I’ll check it out. I have a 2021 with Led lows/fogs. The highs/drl’s are still yellow, kinda behind the time’s on that Toyota. Anyways Xenon Depot makes a led that will work for that application, that will be my first upgrade..

On a 2011 4runner you take the mirror of as he said, then you take out the Phillips screw out of the white mirror support and pop it out, its comes out easy and then you can access the 2 Phillips screws holding in the light bulb support, drop it out and twist the socket out and pull the bulb out. Once I worked on the 1st one for 20 minutes I did the 2nd one in under 2 minutes including putting it back together.

Good video seems like Toyota should of just put two screws on bottom of side mirror for easy access of bulb replacement/ also your new bulbs seems to illuminate the door more than the floor

Do they not go on automatically when it detects the key is in close proximinity? Looking into buying a 4R, don’t have one. On my dad’s car the puddle light go on automatically as you walk up

You might have figured this out by now but just in case it does turn on when we approach but you have to be very close to the door which kind of defeats the purpose of puddle lights.

These turn on when you unlock the vehicle with the key fob. I also bought the kit to where I can turn them on whenever I want with a switch inside

There is no reason to pull the mirror out, the back cover will easily pop off. Grab the cover on the top corner closest to the A pillar and pull, comes off with very little effort.

@@joethefifth4051 Yes. Pull the painted part off and then you follow the rest of the video. Also you do not have to mess with unplugging the wire that goes to the mirror.
