Would love to see a flip through of the Beautiful Feet Teachers Guide and lessons.

Thanks for sharing Ashlee and thanks for the bundle code! I was thinking about what books I should read for my morning basket this year and you just made up my mind! I ordered your Christian book bundle. I have been wanting to try these books out anyways after hearing how much you and your kids love them and I am excited to read them to my children!

I’d definitely be interested in a review/flip through of Beautiful Feet Books! As always, love TGTB! This is the first year of Simply Good and Beautiful Math (level 3!) and we’re so excited for it!

I would love to see which titles you have in that big pile of history readers that will be in your morning basket. ♥

Ashley could you do a video on Teaching Textbooks and cover what holes you noticed and if you would still recommend it? We were really looking forward to using it, but now I'm nervous.

We used Teaching Textbooks and it was a good independent math program. My kid didn’t need much help BUT there’s not that much for them to practice. It moves a little quickly. My opinion is just to use it as a supplemental program, I would use another math program as well. But that’s just my opinion!

I would love to see a schedule. I love all the things but always get lost in the times/the when. What is your flow and approximate time spent? Are you doing each subject daily or loops? I'm also interested in hearing how you stay disciplined to teach when it is time and how you manage times to do other things... workout, laundry, keep house, etc. I'm notorious for running downstairs for something and next thing I know I'm "just" doing the laundry.

I’m with ya. I think figuring out a good schedule with multiple kiddos is one of the hardest parts.

My youngest is going to be in 6th grade. We are using several of the same things. He's using TGTB LA7, TGTB science units Chemistry, Energy, Water, & Paleontology. We also average one each quarter. I got him the Typing and creative writing along with Fix it Grammar! to do independently and my kids finished up the handwriting this year. We are still using TGTB History. We will use MUS pre-algebra. We don't have a formal Bible curriculum either. Looks very similar. Thanks for sharing.

5th grade already for your youngest? So bittersweet I'm sure. Loving these curriculum hauls...thank you for sharing, Ashlee! :)

My son is going in 5th grade and the best thing to happen to our homeschool has been The Good and The Beautiful math. It's been amazing for him! 5th grade will be our first year using Simply and he's so excited for the video component!

I’ll have a 5th and 7th grader as well and I can’t handle it 😭 I appreciate all your video, even the high school ones, as they are kind of mentally preparing me for what is to come. I will definitely be adding the Masterbooks history course to our list for next year. Would love to see an update on how your kiddos liked that one!

We're doing 4 units for Science with TGATB, Space, Energy, Birds and Water in our World. We are using Maturation as a health study. We are also starting Year 1 History with TGATB, praying we like it. Also use their Lang Arts💙📚📚📚

Do you think your 5th grader will be prepared to go to Prealgebra with Shorman after TGTB Math 5? I hope that is not an intrusive question but thinking ahead. Thanks for all of your insight

Hi Ashley 👋 I love your video so much. I find you such an inspirational person! 2 questions for you.. 1. Where do YOU get your inspiration from? 2. What do your kids do in their spare time/when they are finished their work? :)
@gracegreenwell26572 жыл бұрын
After your kids use all 3 levels of TGTB typing, do they chicken peck still or type "right"? I'm curious of the benefits. I type fast but I chicken peck LOL

This is NOT a sarcastic question- How on earth do you get all 4 of your kids to complete all that curriculum? I am excited to get more curriculum for my 3 kids but I feel overwhelmed!! How are you motivated and how do you motivate your children? Thanks!
@FLMegan2 жыл бұрын
I tried this way and I have tried even more "school at home" ways prior- my kids were overwhelmed and I exhausted. I'm now doing a WAY more relaxed loop, done by lunch with a big break at 10. Still ❤️ tgtb lots. I think all kids n homes are different. Mine are not self motivated lol.

I went back to your video twice, hoping to not take up your time to comment back. I see Master books and BJU Spanish listed in your links. Is your youngest doing the apologetics course and BJU Spanish that you linked to? Thank you for this video, awesome recommendations as always.

Thank you for all your content. I had a question, I love the amount of work or study your kids do. My children are 4th and 6th grade. I work full time outside the home, do you honestly feel that this is doable. I am trying to do what is right by my kids. Thanks everyone

Besides tgatb what would you recommend for a second grader for history?
@GraceandGrit2 жыл бұрын
Reading good historical fiction. I wouldn’t do a curriculum that young
@WonderfulCrow436382 жыл бұрын
I’m excited to see how you incorporate beautiful feet. I LOVE It. But find the teacher guide to be not as user friendly as TGATB lol. It’s just not as open and go so I shy away from it and often just read the titles and pick a few questions to ask

Do you use Saxon math with shorman? We used Saxon this year on our own and I like what I see so far with the dive videos. Would be so much easier than me doing for all 3 of mine.
@catherinepeacock83012 жыл бұрын
I love Saxon. Nicole the Math Lady does really good video lessons as well and there’s online grading. Though I’m also using TGTB math for my younger daughter, and just wondering when I’d switch to Saxon for the older grades.

How much did all of this, for 5th grade, cost in total?
@GraceandGrit2 жыл бұрын
I don’t keep a tally. But if I had to say an estimate I’d probably say around $500. The history alone was $250
