Those American Eagle jeans are great, good fit, enough stretch to be comfy but still look like jeans. I carry similar but the only thing in my 5th pocket is typically a mini bugout, it’s perfect for 5th pocket with how thin and light it is. I also got a tactile turn bolt action in the short size along with my wallet combined with a small notepad-binder. Then I keep a Rovyvon A8 on my keys, most of the time I use my phone flashlight but if I need more throw then the Rovyvon does the job. Keep up the content!

Happy Saturday Mr. Minimalist & thank you for an interesting video. About the only thing I ever carry in the 5th pocket of my jeans is a small/medium Swiss Army knife, either a 2 or 3 layer one from the 84/85 mm or 91mm range. The 84/85mm ones fit snugly in barely protruding & the 91mm ones just a little more. To cut down on my minimalist EDC in my other pockets I no longer carry a separate pen or flashlight and instead carry as my default key chain knife a small 58mm Victorinox Midnite Manager or a Midnite Mini-Champ since both contain a pen & LED flashlight in their scales (handles). When I forgo carrying a small/medium Swiss Army knife in the 5th pocket I carry either a larger multi layer 91mm, 93mm or a 111mm locking one in my right pocket or a medium sized or large single blade locking knife by Case, Civivi, Buck, Rough Ryder or Kershaw. My Levi's 5th pocket carry: Victorinox Manager Victorinox Nail clippers Olight 1R-2 Can't really see it, and it works pretty well for me. 😝 (Also, I deleted my wallet. My phone case carries what I need.)

Fifth pockets were originally designed to carry a pocket watch but today most people use it as a change pocket! I would carry a disposable lighter long before I would carry a pen and without something to write on, it's use would be slight, but I suppose you could have 2-3 pieces of card stock cut down to credit card size for your card holder! I wonder if any of three 'clipped' tools would work their way up and out when you're walking or if you're getting up and down a lot!

Depends of the deapth of the pocket fifth pockets are not created equals but nice set up minimal useable lightweight !!

I am only into the pen, and can imagine this either looking into my leg or ribs. Have never been able to reasonably wear appendix carry, it pushes into the leg/groin while simultaneously pushing into the ribcage

I actually carry this knife 5th pocket all the time. Not so much the other things but it does not poke me.
