playing over another is literally what makes a zero quarter so special and anyone from the 90s to early 00s will probably feel the same as well. also considering how much music and announcers have flooded games and bands out, it definitely felt refreshing to watch each band just dish out blows at one another. i rather that, than to make us wait until after half time to start hearing stand battles. 😭

I agree ima bandhead and I love SU This BoomBox classic was eh… I was there in person both bands sound great but they lacked technicality and overall musicianship I missed the different genres of music. Punk Rock, gospel, Marches, movie Themes I didn’t get a punch factor but yea JSU did what JSU do and I was pleased Looking forward to parade season

This was actually a decent battle. I can’t call a winner just yet. Both had power and a decent song book. SU blew on JSU until they left the stadium and continued blowing. Probably best 5th quarter of the year. The atmosphere was awesome for both bands. The support for both bands like no other. I’ll come back to this battle couple more times.
