5th Scale BurnOut Time! FG Dragster Test Runs

Finally, I'm taking my FG Dragster out for a testrun. The dragster is powered by a BZM 28.5 Torque Tuned engine which I dropped in a FG Sportsline 2WD. I've converted my Sportsline chassis to a 1970's Dodge Challenger, with lots of custom parts. In the video series you will be able to follow this build from the very start, to the point where it will finally start burning some rubber!
The custom servo setup works great, the BZM has massive torque, and I love running this scaled down muscle car! A few alterations will be made in the future, such as a bit thicker diff oil, and perhaps a different clutch to make it engage a bit more aggressively. For a first run, I was more than satisfied and this ride is everything I hoped it to be.

Hi Flavio! Good to see yo stop by again, my friend! The body will be available soon thrugh HemiStorm Products. As for breaking in the engine: several ways and everybody has a preferred method. I run stock carb settings, just let it cycle through a tank of gas without throttling it too much. After that, I start leaning it out with some low speed runs, just as long till I find the right tune. I hope this helps!

I use to have an RC car like this one. It had 2 white stripes, a blue body color, and the body was pretty much the same look as this one, only that it had huge wheels in the back, and a huge blower in the front.

Great Job as always, but especially liked this build as this fits right in with my liking of the style (Drag Racing), and the "back in time look" of the car is just awesome. Love the way you don't have to tie the car back or just put your foot in front of it-ha. The extra work of adding the front line lock to do the burnouts makes it look so realistic, and you are a great one with the painting of your builds...Very nice job, thumbs up!
